Circle S Lodge

Hot water was not working and while I asked if that could me fixed, the maintenance man asked why he should. He was unhelpful and rude. Front desk lady was understanding and offered to comp one of my nights. Will see if that happens.

Hostess had to get hot water fixed before I could use. Went sight seeing at chimney rock and Scott’s bluff and room was ready when I returned. Good view to west from motel. Convenience store next door.

Room wasn't ready, plumbing back up, nasty! friendly staff but no where I would let me dog stay!

This hotel is older. The parking lot has some potholes. A great effort has been put into making the room nice, and clean. The manager checked us in, brought us extra towels. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also larger than most I've seen in a hotel, it was also clean.

Smoke detectors missing, no garbage can, the shower had used soap and shampoo on the shelf, which lead me to question if it was cleaned. The alarm had food particles on it. The tv remote didn’t work. The carpet below the a/c unit was saturated with water. Overall I would think it should be condemned until proper renovations are done. I couldn’t sleep thinking the bed probably had dirty sheets, so I left at 2:30 am ☹️

The office was locked when we arrived at 5 pm. After waiting about 10 minutes, the desk clerk arrived in a car. She offered to decrease our room rate due to no large screen TV. After seeing the room, we asked for a refund and she returned our money. She was very nice but hotel condition was awful.

Well the manager made our stay so delightful, that nothing else really mattered! Everything was kept up... just a nice old retro style motel!

Lots of flies and the ac was inadequate to the task. Room was fairly sweltering and we had to kill lots of flies.

When I checked in, front desk said they were overbooked. She somehow found a room for me though. She showed me the room it was hot, not all the pillows were on the beds, 1 tv didn't work and the door didnt shut well. When we returned from our event the room was still hot and front desk didn't have any options.

Older establishment. Room was clean, service was acceptable. Would stay there again.
