"Stopover in Lake Placid"

We loved the 1950’s vibe throughout the hotel, staff were always at hand for enquires and they had helped us out with an error in our initial booking. Breakfast had loads of choices and the coffee was pretty decent, and the member of staff who was present was helpful and up for a good chat.

Noise from the bar at the front went on a little bit too late and the carpets need an update .

The hotel was great but the parking was rough. If you have a larger vehicle it's very tight. Very difficult to maneuver. Luckily there were a few spots closer to the street that were easily accessible
