I liked the free breakfast and the rooms were decent. I also like the location because I could easily walk around downtown and get back to the hotel.

The pool looked dirty like no one had cleaned it in years. I was hoping to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but was disappointed in that area. I suggest draining it and giving the area a good cleaning.

It had a good variety of hot items and the attendant was great! Also had a nice view of an Olympic building and the national flags on display.

The heat lamp in the bathroom is not putting out much warmth.

"The BEST of MANY Great Best Western Stays!"

We just loved this place. We don't like rectangular glass box hotels, and this place was anything but. A big beautiful CHALET right in the middle of Lake Placid! ELEVATED Balcony room that looked right down onto Main Street. We walked EVERYWHERE! Restaurants, the movie theater, convenience stores, antique stores, gift shops, the Olympic Center, you name it! Incredibly clean, quiet, cozy, comfy, and quaint. Ample well lit car parking. Very pleasant staff, awesome breakfast food, an amazing value. You cannot go wrong. This review is an absolute RAVE! Grade: A+!

Beautiful place and great location. Great king room!

Carbon monoxide alarm wouldn't reset and the lady at the desk tried to change the batteries but it still never quit beeping. But we managed.
