Great wedding! Beautiful property!

The advertised facilities on booking.com and the facilities that were actually available at the hotel were worlds apart. It was mentioned that the pool would be open from 15th May, but when we went on the 17th May, it was still closed. Mind you the hotel next to this had their pool open. The pool was the main reason we went there. Moreover, there was no lifeguard on duty, no shower outside. Utterly disappointed by the difference in service. I rate this place a negative 10 Just when you thought things can’t get any worse, all the taps in room were only giving brown water the next day. We had to use water bottles to brush our teeth and leave the place even before the checkout time because we were disgusted.

Hi! My bestie and I visit every year before the families converge at Icona!! Well..it was earlier than usual...last week ..and while we can have fun in a box, there was nothing....no pool, no tram car, no funnelcake, no sun, no people! Lol! But...as usual....the ICONA staff was on point and amazing. Sue, our cruise director, always at the desk ready to help and answer questions was there and was her usual amazing self! Brandt checked us in and tried to upgrade us seeing as though there were 24 people in the hotel, but our neighbors were breaking every rule....they were partying like it was 1999! The hall constantly smelled like weed.....we told our more than amazing room attendant, Jen, about it and she had already reported it to management. I hope u charged them for a room disinfection!!! Jen treated us like family and treated her rooms like she owned them....with such pride!!! She asked us every morning....what do u need? What can I do for u? SO genuine and helpful! And then there was EARL the Pearl!!! Sue called him and asked him to shuttle us to the beach....as he does year after year, he scooped us up...got us brand new chairs and took us to the best beach in wildwood while regaling us with the stories of what it takes to pull the ICONA together for another season! We watched the palm trees get planted and the tents prepared for an event this past weekend which i am sure was fabulous!! My bestie, Susan Langlois and I, Dawn Maiorano are both small business owners in CT. We know wat it takes to be successful....it is having a great team who works hard and well together. Every business has its issues...making it all look like amazing and easy while working thru those issues is a gift and talent....the ICONA team does just that!! Congratulations on an amazing team and best of luck for a fabulous and successful season! We hope to be able to carve out a few days to come for another bestie trip!!! WOW! My husband and I haven’t been away alone in over 15 years. We have been raising 5 kids, but now 4 out of 5 are adults so they were on duty. Everything was perfect, but what struck us the most was the spirit of love, joy and hospitality all around the property. Your staff is special. You allowed us to have the perfect weekend away. Thank you!

Love that they set up chairs and umbrella for you, no need to bring your own. The pool area is nice and they even have a hostess bring a menu and ask if you'd like anything, even drinks which gives a real resort feel to this hotel. Its clean and not overrun with out of control kids not being watched by parents. The inside is spotless. This is well worth the money spent here.

Some kind of sticker on the glass doors going on to the balcony, as it is clear glass & at times was difficult to tell if door was open or shut. If someone with poor eyesight may walk into the door.
