Breakfast which was in the offer finally was not availible.

The night desk clerk was very friendly and doing his best to accommodate people. He was having a nightmare of a time getting the booking website/software to show him what he needed. He was doing that in between a bunch of people asking for extra towels and room support. He was a one-armed wallpaper hanger the night we checked in.

Many things. There were signs posted everywhere that it was a no smoking facility. NY state banned smoking indoors in the 1990s and either they weren't enforcing the no smoking policy or they hadn't cleaned, sanitized or upgraded the building to rid it of the cigarette smoke residue/smell since the 1990s. The room had rolled tile flooring, not carpet. The electrical outlets were old and anything you tried plugging into them was loose and barely connected. The blankets and pillows were thin and barely kept you warm. The AC/heat unit sounded like a 747 taking off. The shower head in the bathroom was clogged from mineral build up and would barely flow. The top of the shower stall hadn't been cleaned in months. There were mold spots all over it. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. The walls of the hotel are paper thin and you could hear every move that anyone in the building made. Otherwise the bed was flat (not comfortable) and the room was dark. You get what you pay for.

The room was not cleaned from multiple aspects. Carpet had cigarette butt residue, faucet was visibly dirty, and the walls had splattered residue.

The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the friendly desk associate. He was helpful in us canceling our reservation upon seeing the hotel.

This property is incredibly concerning. No smoking signs everywhere yet the cleaner was in the hallway with a vacuum SMOKING. The rooms were outdated and unclean. Our room had crumbs on the floor, hair in the beds, sheets were unclean and stained. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. There is ABSOLUTELY no way this hotel is worth $200 a night. It was very clear some tenants were long term. Also, we were offered a significant discount if paid in cash which is very clear the type of establishment this is.

Receptionist was accommodating to the extent possible and friendly. Ground floor rooms had horribly frosted sliding doors so you can go straight to your car from room. Located right off highway and surrounded by fast foods/stores but area is not great looking.

It feels like a motel with long-term residents. There was no breakfast as advertised, just a one-pump thermos of coffee prepared by the night security. Most vending machines were out of service, and the towels and sheets were questionable—washed I would assume, but they appeared stained and weren't full-sized. I had to swap rooms because the first one was very outdated and uncomfortable, with no fridge or microwave. The second room was an improvement but still lacked a fridge and microwave (though the receptionist kindly had a fridge brought in). Guests had to share two microwaves in the common area for all food heating. Overall, the place needs major improvement in cleanliness, updating, overall service. We made do with what was available since everything was sold out due to marathon weekend.

Dirty room! Shower not cleaned! Bad ordor! Was told I couldn’t have a key to my room cause it was too late so I was let in with a master key. It was too late night so I just went with it.

Room was dirty walls were dirty

BIt was nasty. TV was still a box TV. Dead ugs all over. Didn’t take a shower feeling like I’ll be more dirty after taking one. It was gross.

Wir hatten 2 Zimmer, die mit einer Tür verbunden waren. Die Zimmer waren recht geräumig.

Die Zimmer waren schlecht geputzt. Im Bad lagen mehrere Haare, ebenso im Bett auf dem Laken. Die Fenster waren trüb, stumpf, sodaß man nur aus einer Seite herausschauen konnte. Das war bei vielen Zimmern der Fall. Die Glasschiebetüren zur Straße und dem vorgelagerten Parkplätzen waren kaum, nur mit extremen Kraftaufwand zu öffnen. Danach hatte man schwarze Farbreste vom Griff an den Händen, die lange nicht wieder von den Fingern zu entfernen ging. Auf den Möbeloberflächen war Staub und eingetrocknete Reste von Flaschenböden. Ich hatte im Vorfeld schriftlich angefragt, ob die Duschen barrierefrei zugänglich seien, da meine Schwester im Rollstuhl sei, was bejaht wurde. Bei Ankunft stellte sich heraus, daß es im Haus nur zwei Behindertenzimmer gibt. Eines war belegt, daß andere hatte, wie alle anderen Zimmer, eine Badewanne, in der man duschen konnte, also für Behinderte unzugänglich. Ich habe der Rezeption mitgeteilt, was alles im Argen sei. Der junge Mann war zwar freundlich aber recht unmotiviert. Er meinte ich soll mich beim Hauskeeping beschweren, er sei schließlich für die Rezeption zuständig und nicht für das Putzen. Außerdem würde sich eh nichts ändern, er hätte das zuvor schon weitergeleitet. Alles in allem, ich würde da nicht wieder übernachten. Auch kommt noch hinzu, das Motel liegt direkt an der Autobahn nur wenige Meter entfernt. Freunde von uns hatten für einen ähnlichen Preis zur selben Zeit eine entzückende, komplette Wohnung in Elmira gebucht. Ein unterschied wie Tag und Nacht.
