Americas Best Value Inn Horseheads

I would never recommend to book this hotel. While the front desk clerk was extremely professional, nice and helpful, we didn't get the room that I paid for. I had paid for a double queen room and was first taken to a single room with a king and then a room with 2 full beds. At that point I was not saying anything else because we had spent a long day traveling and I just wanted to rest as well.As the fact that it was advertised that the rooms had many bridges and microwaves did not.That I was finally taking toAt that point I was not saying anything else because we had spent a long day traveling and I just wanted to rest as well. As well as the fact that it was advertised that the rooms had mini fridges and microwaves and itdid not, that I was finally taken to. I did in fact have medication that needed to be refrigerated and could not , and that was why I had booked this specific hotel. I actually would like a partial refund.

There were not enough bath towels, face towels in the room. Bedding was not clean with dirty spots. Terrible toilet bowl. Dirty window and mirrors. First morning we got snack and coffee and second morning only coffee because of snacks finished at 9:30am.

Not a good place for family stay. Wrong

Filthy, run-down, and decrepit. Example of why the first room was unacceptable was a toilet seat with hair & what looked like urine on the seat. Next room had a bathroom with black mildew on the seat and in the bowl, along with stained towels, debris on all the floor & carpet surfaces, dirty windows, and a bedspread torn (or burned) in multiple places. The front desk guy was lovely, and did his best to help, but he had little with which to work. A very sad place. Unlike the listing, there was no breakfast, even though we were there on a weekend, when they were supposed to offer it. The shower water temp was fine, the mattress was comfortable, and the AC did work, although I had no faith that it wasn't spewing out the same black mildew that was in the bathroom. This hotel would not have passed any health code inspection. I felt sorry for anyone working there.

People live there, hang out outdoors like it's a front yard. Kids on bikes, lawn chairs, people yelling back and forth. Barely any towels. Towels were stained and not much bigger than a hand towel. Pubic hair, dried soap in the shower. A/C worked well though.

Bed was ok. Bathroom and room it self was dirty! Room was to be non-smoking and it smelled terrible of both cigarettes and pot. Went to a local store and purchased items to fumigate and disinfect

De twee mensen die er werken en die we gezien hebben waren vriendelijk.

Het was te vies en onhygiënisch om te omschrijven. De bedden leken alsof er al in geslapen was. Lange haren in bed, in de kamer en badkamer. Vlekken op elke plek in de kamer, badkamer, meubilair, deuren, muren etcetera. Het was zo vies, dat we gegaan zijn. De stoelen waren te vies om op te gaan zitten.
