If you drive to the hotel you need to be aware you can’t drive up to it. Find out exactly where valet will pick up your car as it’s on a tiny street where cars are not able to drive up to.

The hotel is on a top location, right to the Basilica and St Antonio Palazzio . There is a parking - paid, nearby, which was recemented by the hotel. The breakfast was good, just we had some troubles with the noise , but that was because of the first floor accommodation I recommend it !

Our stay at the Guardati was wonderful. Excellent location, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Sorrento. The hotel is clean and the staff was wonderful. Good breakfast every morning, and Pepe was a friendly bartender. Our room was suitable in size for a couple. Would certainly return to the Guardati if we make it back to Sorrento.

We stayed at Palazzo Guardati for 5 nights in October. What we loved most about the hotel was its great location. It was steps from the 2 main shopping streets and restaurants yet our room was very quiet and spacious and had a very nice partial view of the sea. You could definitely pay less for accommodations if you stayed further out of the center but beware, cabs are extremely expensive in Sorrento and bus service isn’t reliable. We are so happy we were able to walk everywhere we needed and all the best restaurants are right out the front door. The staff were also extremely helpful and kind as I fell ill on our last night and needed to go to the hospital. The night manager checked on me and helped us arrange transportation. We were due to check out the next day but they offered a much delayed checkout if I wasn’t up for travel which was beyond our expectations and so grateful for their kindness. Breakfast was excellent, all that we needed. Would definitely recommend Palazzo Guardati!
