Residence Inn Jackson Ridgeland

Great one night stay as I pass through traveling from Arkansas to Alabama. The staff was friendly and promot. My stay was pleasant.

First room we got bathroom light went out so we had to change rooms. The room we were changed to had a little hair in the shower, but thankfully I brought my own cleaning supplies!! But overall customer service was good! And breakfast was great!

I was disappointed in the room. The bathroom door did not work properly nor did the shower door. The air conditioner and air return was right at the foot of the bed which was very noisy. This made it very difficult to sleep.

Elaborate

I loved the cleanliness of the rooms, as well as how helpful and friendly the staff was. I booked the room for a few days to stay with my family for my daughter’s birthday and I will say they made us feel extremely welcomed and at home.

Elevators had many problems. One was completely disabled during our stay, and the second one broke the morning we were leaving. So we used the stairs. I have mobility issues. I had asked for my room to be close to the elevator, that didn't happen. There were a few other issues. But I do have to say that we liked the property and the amenities of the hotel.

First, they did not have the hotel room that I originally booked. I had to squeeze my family into a room with one bed. The staff was rude and tried to argue that I had booked a one bed room until I logged in and showed them. I had to settle for the one bed room and make pallets bc it was 11 pm and I was tired from traveling all day. They originally had us on the second floor but on the way to take things to room I got STUCK in the elevator. Yes STUCK!! My friend had to pry the door open!!! So we complained about that and they did move us to another one bed room which was still too small. Then the manager wrote that they accommodate us and we were pleased and that is a damn lie. We settled because we were tired!

I enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality. Hotel is very clean . Smells great . Breakfast was great ! Will return .
