Perfect stay, prime location, walking distance to Ubud Art Market and a lot of eateries around. Good cleanliness. The staffs clean up twice a day and provide some snacks like peanut and cookies everyday. Staffs are friendly and helpful
Everything is fine but a bit old, the people are nice and friendly. Room is big and the mattress is comfortable. Shower is weak but the bathtub is large. Rooms are well renovated and new, but the hotel environment can be improved and renovated.
Hotel is in a great location, and the staff are very eager to help, however a few annoying aspects... The WiFi connection is terrible (didn’t work the majority of our stay) which is an inconvenience when trying to plan your trip. Also I feel they need to do more to ensure there’s no mosquitoes in your actual bedroom, maybe they leave the door open whilst cleaning? Also the bedroom door to our room wasn’t secure and could have easily have been broken in to. A bit of a worry as the safe was broken too!
Very centrally located, so very convenient. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely staff. Rooms could do with some upgrades - eg toilets that are renovated like rest of bathroom and mosquito nets without large holes but staff is kind and tries to help
The hotel had a wow look when first checking in but on closer inspection it was tired and in need of some TLC. Some of the issues were the main tap on the bath didnt work, but we overcame the issue by using the hand spray on the bath to fill it. The other point was most of the nozzles on the shower head were blocked or facing in random directions so you didnt get wet in the shower. We were only staying for 2 days so didnt bother to mention the issues.
Great location and friendly staff. We were able to store our luggage before our evening flight and have a shower before we left which was most appreciated.
Great location and staff. Unfortunately, we found that during our stay there were some evenings with excessive noise and very loud live music and singing. We did not see any comments about noise in the reviews we had read about the hotel.
The Barong was beautiful. We truly loved the place. it was quiet, the room was amazing. It was clean and tidy. The staff cleaned the rooms daily and then also came into the room to put down the curtains and 'prepped' the bed for sleeping swell as turning all the lights on.
The property was great.... JUST REMEMBER YOU ARE IN UBUD INDONESIA... things are busy and what you might take for granted at home might be a luxury in Ubud.. the shower, bathroom and living area we're clean and nice... The bed was HARD.. the ceiling fan was obnoxiously noisy.. the property is located in a busy part of the city. Circle K right across the street.. you can seriously walk the whole city easily.. now for the staff... You will make friends for life.. great people amazing attitudes..
I liked the fact that the hotel was in a central location and yet it was very quite and relaxing. The private villas are large and are well served by the hotel staff. It came with its own private pool and breakfast was delivered every morning.
