All in all - excellent. Food was varied, fresh, and well prepared and served. Rooms could use a few more amenities like ear buds, hand towels etc. Safari? We were lucky and did get to see a pride of lions, thanks to our driver/guide Martin. Special shout-out to Naiomi - who is the service specialist in the lobby. Great job!

This resort is nestled in the majestic Taita Hills. One can enjoy sweeping views of the wildlife sanctuary under the African sky.

The report unfortunately falls short of 5-star standards. Rooms are not equipped with air-conditioners, hairdryers, irons, nor telephones. Basic toiletries and a vanity set are not included in the bathroom. While this resort is considered to be a noise-free one (as stated on the information brochure), we experienced sleeplessness nights during our stay. This was due to the ongoing construction of the pool and the stay of school kids who played loud music and knocked on doors late at night. Despite numerous complaints to the management, we only received an apology. The resort management did not try to accommodate our stay by making it more comfortable or noise-free. The wing of the resort closest to the construction should be temporarily closed off as the constant noise does not make the stay a pleasant one.

"Misrepresented by advertising untruths - no pool or Aircon. Food cold. No response to complaint."

Location is convenient for safari

1. The food was cold. Reheated in microwave and then overcooked! Very disappointing. 2. There is no swimming pool despite advertising it on the booking.com site and other sites. This is a blatant lie as the pool has long since been removed. We would not have booked otherwise. 3. There was no air conditioning despite advertising it on the Booking.com website. 4. We wrote to the general manager after leaving 1 day early giving them the opportunity to respond but no response received. 5. Once we put up a poor review they offered to refund our money but it never came. These people have no integrity - avoid at all costs!
