Maninarakorn Hotel

I had a fantastic stay! The entire staff from the front desk personnel to the maintenance and housekeeping service staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing environment. I enjoyed my stay so much, I ended up booking a couple of extra days there.

This hotel had a great location but it was really dark inside our room. I think if they simply added some lights it would be a 5 star.

Nice

Stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst in the Chiang Mai area. It's situated about ten minutes away from the main drag and the popular night market. We stayed in the 'old wing' which is a separate building from the main hotel, located across from their main building. There is no elevator in this building although that was made clear on the booking confirmation. The room was reasonably furnished and clean for the price and we had access to a swimming pool. However, this was questionably milky and I only had a short dip before I got out. We didn't use any of the restaurant or bar facilities at the hotel and instead choose to visit the local street food market where you can get a stunning pad thai for £1. The hotel also offered a laundry service however this was quite expensive and items were individually priced. From memory it was 30 THB for a shirt which is quite expensive. There's a lady just down the road who has a very narrow laundry shop. She did our laundry (washed, dried, ironed and folded) for 50 THB a kilo (same day service). So in conclusion use this hotel as a base but don't use its facilities as they are cheaper elsewhere.

The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable, staff was nice. We had a good time and will come back

Breakfast was poor

really nice hotel conveniantly located good staff and clean comfortable room stayed 3 nights dec 18 wish stayed longer for price.moved to Phuket for 4 nights another good hotel but 3 times the price .will certainly stay again thanks steve England .

Ok for price. Clean but walking up stairs not recommended for weak knees. Good porter service.. left at 5.45 am and porter available to help carry luggage down

Enjoyable

Convenient location. Comfortable rooms. Friendly, obliging staff. Very large, comfortable lobby area. Good wifi in room and in lobby. Pool was disappointing. No massage centre at hotel as advertised but could arrange massage in the room. Walking distance to old town area and restaurants. Taxi from airport cost THB150. Return THB 80 per person, when booked from hotel.
