Residence Inn Tucson Airport

Overall appearance looks fine; the exterior, the lobby, breakfast area, outdoor seating etc. Cons; the interior rooms are dated, especially the bathroom needs a major facelift needs new toilet, flooring is old and tub shower is old. The bathroom door was broken didn’t shut. Called maintenance and while we were out they left an huge dangerous mess all over the carpet and bathroom floor; nails, bolts, splinters, wood dust and paint all over the bathroom floor. Didn’t even call housekeeping to clean up just left stuff there. Carpet is old. Sofa bed needs a deep upholstery cleaning. The pillows were old and lumpy uneven. The a/c doesn’t work properly. Also, didn’t know this upon booking but the Pool is Closed from November 13th-December 5th. Patrons can use the Hilton Garden Inn’s pool temporarily. They do have pool towels. Local area is dead. There’s nothing around close by to eat. You need a car, it’s a must, nothing is in walking distance in this area. Bring food. Buy food ahead of time. Pros: liked the spaciousness of the room. Liked the full kitchen. Breakfast was good. Parking was fine. The WiFi works but you have to log in again every morning for your stay. Would Not stay here again. No way. It ruined our Thanksgiving stay. I’ll go next door next time to Holiday Inn Express or other.

We liked everything. Very friendly staff and good breakfast, great pool area, wonderful room and amenities. Also shuttle from airport was great. Thanks so much. Hope to be back.

Great location to the airport and helpful staff.

There were children using the pool and making a lot of noise until almost midnight.

Clean, quiet, great value. Fabulous bed and pillows for a tired traveler.
