Chabil Mar Luxury Villas - Guest Exclusive Beach Resort

The grounds are immaculate. The villas are spacious and well appointed. This resort is right on the beach and it was so peaceful and quiet and just overall our stay was amazing. The bartenders are great and all the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend this place if staying in Placencia!

We love this place! So beautiful, two amazing pools, beautiful beach. Even during Covid craziness, this place was such a wonderful little oasis of peace, absolutely gorgeous, food is amazing, free kayaks, paddle boards, bikes for rent. We stayed with two small children and they loved it as well! Staff so helpful and friendly! Do not hesitate to book your stay here, you will have the time of your life!

i don't eat sea food so the menu was limited very quite place with no entertainment room was the best i would recommend

The property is sparkling! The staff, though, is what truly made our stay so very relaxing. Every staff member had a ready smile and a warm greeting. They were keen to help with whatever we needed, and cheerful in doing so. Everyone working here seems cross-trained so that they can each jump in at a moment's notice to make sure we were comfortable. If they needed to confer with someone else, that took only a moment before the right person was there to help. William, in particular, was enthusiastic and helpful as our beach captain. He had our gear ready and helped us master the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. We noticed, too, that while were out on the water, life jackets on, William keep one eye on the water to know we were ok. That did not go unnoticed! The wait staff, and room staff, and front desk, and shuttle driver.... everybody was warm and welcoming. And NOT in that "employee" way. It was more like they were all genuinely happy that we were there. We will be back!

Chabil Mar is excellent. I recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The grounds are beautiful day and night. Your meals truly are delivered anywhere on the property you wish. Our only hiccup was we booked an outing with the concierge and we waited an hour for the boat to pick us up for our trip and he did not show up. The concierge forgot to confirm with the tour guide.

Amazing location right on the beach. Perfect size apartments steps from the pool and the beach. Food delivered anywhere you want to eat it. Hammocks that you want to spend hours in all over the place and a beautiful dock looking out into the ocean. Absolutely perfect place to stay!

Everything was great except that we did not have a Sea View Villa as we paid for, we had a pool view and at best maybe a partial sea view through the trees and tables and other hanging items that obstructed the view. We received a message in reply to other review that the resort would work with ya directly on the issue however they never said anything to us, including upon checkout. The other thing is that housekeeping kept turning off the air conditioners when they would clean the rooms so when we got back at the end of an excursion or a day in the village the room instead of being cool as we had hoped after a long day, it was warm and we had to wait for the ac to start getting the temperature back down again.

I loved the kitchen, washer/dryer, the infinity pools, and iguanas. We also had free use of shuttle services, bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boards. The bed sheets were rough and the food was just good. I would have expected excellent at a resort like this.

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful resort. If we had the time, we would have stayed longer. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The concierge is happy to help with a big smile. The view from the room was spectacular. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Placencia village is an easy walk either from the beach or main road. No need to rent a car. We very much enjoyed our first visit to Belize and Chabil Mar was the right choice. We highly recommend it.
