The tropical environment, pool, stuff.

The facility could use a bit updating.

Gutes Restaurant, Zimmer waren groß und sauber, heißes Wasser,

Fahrstuhl defekt, Pool nicht wirklich sauber,alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Room was good. Grounds were very nice. Location was good for visiting Manuel Antonio. Restaurant was good for dinner and the complimentary breakfast.

Hotel Villas Lirio Manuel Antonio No coffee until 7 am. Not in room either. The breakfast was satisfactory but nothing outstanding. The reception clerk wore unprofessional attire and wouldn't get off the phone when a customer went to the desk. There was no coffee available till 7 AM and none available in the room. For me, it's a must to travel with Starbucks via and use extra hot water out of the faucet.. But our spacious room was lovely with beautiful furniture. We enjoyed the closet and roominess.It was especially nice to have a couch end table and ceiling fan outside each door. That was really great to extend the room like that. We enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful pool.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de possibilité d'adapter un peu l'horaire du petit déjeuner qui commence à 7h alors que le parc Manuel Antonio, qui est un des motifs principaux de passages des touristes dans cet hôtel, ouvre a 7h30 et qu'il est recommandé d'y être tôt avant l'ouverture. Certains hôtels proposent par exemple de préparer un petit déjeuner à emporter et à manger sur la route. Mais sinon c'était très bien!

Hotel Villa Lirios is a diamond in the rough. The small, tropical property is located high on a hill not far from Manual Antonio National Park. At first, a typical American traveler might notice some crumbling stone work or chair seat cushions that could use replacement, but they are quickly overlooked by rooms with dark wood furnishings & trim, plus intriguing art work. Rooms can be brightened by turning on the many lighting/fan options available, or left softly lit. Unlike hotels in other parts of country, you do not use room key to control electric. The air conditioning is excellent & rooms are delightfully cool on return from a hot hike in the rain forest! The tree growing through bar area & restaurant creates a special ambience! I was immediately taken by the graciousness of the staff, especially "WILL" who both tended bar & gave us excellent beach tips! Very easy to cheaply UBER anywhere, but also short walking distance to great restaurants like Oceana across the street. During our visit, afternoon happy hour poolside deal featured 2 cocktails for $10! Quite a difference from the $20 poolside drinks found in Hilton Head, our usual beach haunt. Have fun!
