The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel

Breakfast was OK, but not really exceptional. Bread & pastries were very bog standard. Hot food was good. Location was excellent.

The whole hotel is looking really dated and in need of a major refurbishment. Bathroom fixtures in particular looking very tired and dated. Who needs a bath? More showers please. The outside of the buildings needed a good clean & sweep. Location & gardens were beautiful.

The location for walking into town and especially the cathedral.

We loved everything about it. Only stayed one night, but the setting is lovely. Its not far to walk to the town centre so it's an ideal place to stay.

Das Bad war schmutzig mit Schimmel im Fensterbereich. Ein spontaner Wunsch zum Abendessen wird abgelehnt. Das Frühstück ist lückenhaft und mager.

De sfeervolle locatie en de prachtige tuin achter het hotel Bedden zijn uitstekend en groot, verder een ruime kamer met uitzicht op de mooie tuin

Ontbijt is goed maar de kwaliteit van het diner laat te wensen over. In de badkamer kan geen raam open en wordt het gauw benauwd.

Breakfast was good value for the money and very attentive .

Das sehr nette Personal hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen. Die Lage des Hotels ist phantastisch. Eine Grünfläche mit Bänken und Blick auf ein Flüsschen lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ein Restaurant mit Außenfläche ist ebenfalls vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Das Wlan war sehr gut. Der Weg zu Fuß in die Altstadt über die Salisbury Kathedrale ist kurz und romantisch. Mit dem Bus Red 5(Haltestelle genau vor dem Hotel)ist man ebenfalls sehr zügig in der Innenstadt,auch die Haltestelle Osmounds School,wo der Bus 29 fährt,ist in ca 12 Minuten schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können es weiterempfehlen.
