Nice place with friendly staff, the breakfast is delicious and service is great. Very close to most of Baton Rouge to go places. I highly recommend this place.

This was our second visit, and it was lovely again! Janice is a terrific host with tons of local knowledge. Breakfast each morning was a different menu, so we looked forward to the offerings. Access to the common areas gave us a comfortable place to read a book or walk in the garden. The living room contains a grand piano which we were invited to play. The restaurant across the street was excellent for dinner. We own a vacation rental, and for me this environment was so relaxing... better than a hotel because of the amenities, and easier than a vacation rental because I did not have to buy or COOK a thing!

So homely, great location, made to feel welcome, great personal service. Room was well stocked with towels, hairdryer, soaps etc.

One tiny think - although there is a coffee machine, there was no kettle for tea etc. luckily we had a travel kettle!!

Came in for the LSUvsArkansas game. Miss Janice was great. Opened the door for us when we were coming in to check in. Breakfast Sunday morning was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

This was not our first stay at the Stockade and would not stay anywhere else if in Baton Rouge! The accommodations are wonderful and Janice a jewel.
