The Stockade Bed and Breakfast

I went to relax and that is exactly what I did! The room was so nice and Janice was so accommodating! I loved it! Thank you! The breakfast was so Yummy!!

The property is gorgeous, the staff was top notch and the breakfast was fabulous.

A beautiful heritage home, well-appointed with period furniture and lush, forested grounds with very easy access to arterial routes to LSU and downtown. The Rex Room, the only one on the main floor, is serene and has direct access to a nice patio surrounded by forest. The breakfasts were simple but nutritious. Our hostess, Janice, was very friendly, informative and gracious. All in all a very satisfying stay in Baton Rouge.

Large rooms in charming setting. Peaceful and pretty patio. Plenty of food and drink.

The home is beautiful, our room was very large and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and obviously takes pride in sharing her home with others. Breakfast was quite good.

Very hospitable hostess, Janice, made our stay a real pleasure. Lovely house with most interesting and attractive furnishings. Great breakfast and good advice on activities from our hostess.

The property was clean and the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was perfect.

The grounds were beautiful! You are secluded by tree's and all the plants are so calming. Janice and her husband are extremely nice! She is so helpful with information about the area and makes you feel welcomed. The bed was AMAZING! I laid on it and didn't want to move. Everything was very clean and beautiful inside. I stayed with my daughter and we both felt safe and comfortable.

Janice was very warm and friendly.. we really enjoyed.. it was like home away from home.. we will return!!
