Great location. Very clean and comfortable rooms. For those rooms facing the lake, just amazing views.

Most of the staff were competent, but not overly friendly or helpful. Rooms showing a little sign of wear, but perfectly clean and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with a great view, short walk from the lovely restaurants. Clean and roomy, flowers in the lobby. Spacious pool and breakfast area. Beautiful grounds and the pool area. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake, mountains and islands, so we enjoyed sitting there. All staff is attentive, helpful and friendly, from the reception, waiters to the cleaners. Breakfast range excellent. I did some research before booking a hotel in Stresa, and I can highly recommend Astoria.

Frühstück war gut. Zimmer mit Balkon. Wirkt alles wie alter Prunk.

Klimaanlage war zu laut. TV ist klein, ca. 40cm. Dachte, wir übernachten im Haupthaus, war aber leider das Nebengebäude im hinteren Bereich - Innenhof. Da bellte oft ein Hund. Personal war unmotiviert. Hat normale Milch als Hafermilch "verkauft".
