Hotel Villa Daphne

Very pleasant hotel with lovely pool area. Very convenient for buses and coaches and within easy walking distance from the beach.

Very nice staff, good location near the beach. A wonderful pool and nice rooms!

Soooo many bugs in my room. Breakfast always tasted like it was a few days old. Staff pleasant but everyone at the front desk seemed to not be able to answer any of my questions. Overall I did not really enjoy my stay. But honestly other guests seemed to really like it so maybe I just had bad luck.

E' stata la mia prima volta in questo Hotel nell'insieme lo raccomando, per pulizia e cordialità, anche se per andare al mare è una bella passeggiata, il lido a loro convenzionato l'ho trovato eccellente nel servizio, forse un pò altini i prezzi e la musica, ma lo raccomando. Unica pecca se posso permettermi, l'ho trovata nel cibo anche se buono lo avrei preferito meno internazionale o forse avevamo noi delle aspettative diverse. Ci aspettavamo di strafogarci (concedetemi il termine) di piatti più tipici e locali, invece purtroppo è stata una delusione, ogni piatto era su un letto di crema verde che dopo 10 giorni non avevamo ancora capito cosa fosse, molte pietanze a base di salse che non c'entrano nulla con la cucina sicula, e quasi sul finire della vacanza mi è sorto il dubbio che fosse un hotel che si avvalesse del catering. Entrando in hotel non abbiamo mai sentito profumo di soffritti e di cibo, pur avendo la cucina molto vicina. Pertanto consiglierei alla proprietà di abbandonare i menù troppo internazionali, ribadendo che gli stranieri che trascorrono le vacanze in italia vengono anche e soprattutto per la nostra cucina...accontentiamoli !! Ad ogni modo ci tornerei e lo consiglio.

Vila Daphne in Giardini Naxos was an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. Antonella & Claudia were so helpful. I had emailed them several times with lots of questions before arriving to the hotel and they were prompt in returning the responses. It was super clean and the room and beds were very comfortable. It is very close to the Recanati bus stop which brings you to all the locations Including Taormina. All of the excursions we took, we were able to all get at that bus stop which is 50 m from the hotel. Very convenient. Piranata beach which is a private beach affiliated with the hotel is a 10 minute walk. I did an intensive search before I booked this hotel and trust me it is one of the best ones in the city. All the other ones looks run down and old. I would definitely come back there if I ever visit Giardini Naxos again.

Bellissimo hotel in una posizione strategica per visitare Taormina

The hotel is very close to the bus terminal (Recanati) in Giardini Naxos. It takes around 25-40+ min to Taormina Bus terminal. The bus service is every 15 min and costs 3 Euro round trip. So, it is very good base to visit Taormina and can avoid busy and touristic area and have more spaces. It is also close to the beach as well. However, the hotel is not located at Taormina and no views for the coast line from the heights.

Hotel Villa Daphne var et meget bra 3* hotel God service , rent og trivelig. Det lå også sentralt til med busstasjon 50m nedenfor hotellet som gjorde det veldig enkelt å komme seg rundt. Absolutt ett hotel jeg kan anbefale

Avoid having dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was horrible. Breakfast was alright. We stayed in the junior sweet which was newly renovated and nice. The room was clean though we suspect there were bedbugs because every morning we had big red itchy bites. Staff was ok but when we had a complaint, not så nice any more. You have to pay the hotel for pool towels and sunbeds and olso for parking. The price for parking in the garage was equal to the price of parking just outside on the street. Okay place for a 3-star hotel but would never return due to too many flaws.

Flott hotell med personlig service - anbefaler å oppgradere til Superior rom i 3.etg med balkong mot basseng. Hadde ett nyrenovert og deilig værelse med masse oppbevaringsplass og god seng og puter. Veldig bra renhold og alle ansatte man møtte på var virkelig serviceminded. I forhold til området så er det OK, men ikke mer. Kort vei til strand hvor man får 50% med kupong fra hotellet. Fantastisk focaccia på hotellet, den anbefales å prøves. Spiste den flere ganger ved bassenget.
