Hotel Villa Daphne

The hotel is fantastic and what makes it really special is the service from the staff. Everybody is very friendly and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was lovely and big and had a nice terrace balcony. Breakfast was buffet style and a good choice and the underground car park very secure. Nothing was impossible for the staff and offered very clear and friendly advice. It is also very nicely positioned in G Naxos with the bus stop to Taormina a simple €6 return journey away (20 min ride). We didn't try the restaurant but that's because there is much local places to try but from what we saw their food looked great. Highly recommend and would go back for sure.

It is a very clean and neat family run hotel. It was in a quiet location with easy access to beaches and transport links. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. All rooms appeared to have their own balconies. The swimming pool was good and never crowded . It was very deep one end about 2.5 metres. We opted for half board which was a reasonable price but did find the evening meal menu was rather limited and repetitive. The starters were for example always soup, rice or pasta in varying flavours. The food was okay but not inspiring. There are numerous restaurants within a short walking distance. The buffet breakfast was okay. There is a charge for parking it is in the basement and therefore cool. Parking on the road is chargeable.

The Hotel Daphane is located in Giardini Naxos and just a few minutes from Taormina. It's much quieter than Taormina itself and the beach is only about one block away. The hotel is lovely and the staff couldn't be nicer. The A/C in my room wasn't working properly and they immediately switched us to a different room. The breakfast had quite a lot of assortment foods to choose from and everything we tried was delicious. The owner of the hotel came to meet us and gave us a hearty welcome. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel and very close to bus that takes you to Taormina

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and grounds were clean and pretty. Buses on corner take you to taormina and other excursions. Easy to travel from hotel location. Giardini Naxos shops and restaurants an easy walk. Very pleasant.

Though not in Taormina centre, the hotel is very close to the bus terminal. It's easy to take a bus to go to those major spots in Taormina, Catania airport and Syracuse. Hotel room is spacious and comfy. Staff is helpful too.

Small pleasant, quiet and relaxing hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very close to bus stop that takes you direct to Catania Airport - both ways. Don't use their shuttle taxi as costs more.
