Loden Hotel

The last three visits to Vancouver we’ve stayed at the Loden. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We love the rooms and the walkable distance to coal harbor. This is our top pick for downtown Vancouver.

Nice hotel would stay again

Nice suite and nice free valet perk with Expedia VIP. And love the free bike rentals to cycle around Stanley Park. Great location and friendly staff. Will return

A really lovely boutique hotel. Chic design, warm, friendly staff, great restaurant, luxurious amenities, and of course a central location in Vancouver's downtown. I want to call out for special mention the staff who accommodated us in the VIP Lounge when our flight was rescheduled. It was much nicer to wait there than at the airport. One area for improvement: the bathroom sink is too small even as it extends several inches past the edge of the countertop. Water is not contained in that area, and the faux wood cladding shows years of water damage. This is a design problem more than a maintenance problem. Also, I encourage the Loden to dispense with travel-size plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc., and to embrace more eco-friendly options.

The hotel is very comfortable and well located. But our room was never made up before our return from lunch. The parking is absurdly expensive in view of the room price.

We loved everything about this hotel: the location, stylish and comfortable room, beautiful view, exceptional welcome from the staff, and attention to detail such as a bottle of iced lemon water and little treats by our bed each night. We reserved bikes for a ride to Stanley Park - free to guests of the hotel.
