Estuary Sarovar Premiere Poovar Island

It's a wonderful location, right on the beach and estuary, however the beach cannot be swum in as its quite rough. The staff were very friendly and it's a very well laid out hotel.

I was visiting Trivandrum from USA to attend my nephew marriage. After the marriage I took the newly weds and my family to this resort which is close to my sister home. I have paid 30K for three king size bed and assuming 2 people can stay in one room. We had 5 people totally(2 persons in two rooms and 1 person in 3rd room). When we reached there, ladies at the front desk was so arrogant and they asked me to pay extra for the two persons because they says only one person can stay in one room and for any additional persons, I have to pay extra(2500 per person). Remember, 10K I paid per room does not include any breakfast or food. I had to asked for the manager(because ladies at the front desk were so rude and their behavior totally spoiled our vacation mood). Manager was not an exception, he was unpleasant too and I finally told them I'll pay their damn extra money. Their price was very expensive for the facility they offered. I will not recommend anyone going there. See some of the pictures I posted below from the rooms.

When we got to the rooms, one of the room key did not worked. They didn't even tested the doors to make sure those keys would work. We have to wait at least 30 mins to the maintenance guy to come fix the door. When we got into the rooms, the bed was very old making squeaky noise and the bed sheets and the pillows were very old. I'll post pictures below. That place is not worth for 10K per night. I also asked for one room to decorate for honeymoon but they did not do anything until late night. They decorated with few very dirty towels(see pics below). Over all, that place is very pricy and maintained the facility VERY BAD.
