Overall our stay was nice with the exception of having two hours of our time used to speak with Wyndham time share. The young woman we spoke with was very friendly and let us know she was not going to push us into buying. But then we were asked by another gentleman how we could afford to stay there but not get a timeshare. It’s cheaper just to get one. The pools were outdated though we did spend more time at the indoor it seemed to be the best option out of the pool areas. The kid pool is underwhelming and could use an upgrade for sure. We loved seeing the turtles and loved the space that our villa offered. Our favorite by far of the stay was how close it is to literally every thing. I would give it a 8.5/10

So the 2-bedroom unit was very nice and clean. The problem with this resort was that you had people that lived there and families vacationing. We were on the bottom floor of a 2 floor unit. The family of three that were above us lived there. Absolutely no insulation between units and it sounded like a herd of elephants living above us. You could hear them using the bathroom, talking, fighting, walking around at all hours….i travel a lot and hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced. When I called the front desk to complain they suggested I approach them and ask them to quiet down, or they could send maintenance. The fact they lived their did not seem an appropriate option. Very disappointing. Will not stay there again, nor recommend.

Grand Palm Resorts has been our go to place when we stay around Myrtle Beach! Close to everything, the area is awesome and they keep everything in such great shape! Itll continue to be our place to stay when we visit

Upon arrival at the Grand Palms Resort, I found the front office closed despite having confirmed my arrival twice by phone prior to traveling from Washington, D.C. I was met instead by after-hours security personnel. When I stated I was near the country club area, the officer responded, “You don’t want to be in that area, GAL.” This statement was both inappropriate and alarming, raising immediate concerns for the safety of my family. The officer further informed me there was no assigned room for my reservation and offered a room “for last night only.” Despite paying for a deluxe unit, I was taken to a substandard, motel-style room in an unwelcoming environment. Inside, I was told I would not receive a key, which would have prevented us from entering or leaving freely—an arrangement that posed clear safety and liability risks. Given these circumstances, I was left with no reasonable choice but to secure alternative lodging to protect my family. This constitutes a breach of contract, failure to provide paid accommodations, and a disregard for guest safety that could expose the resort to legal liability. I am formally requesting: • A full refund of my reservation. • A written explanation of how this occurred. • Assurance of corrective measures to prevent similar incidents. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 10 business days, I will pursue remedies through my credit card provider, the Better Business Bureau, and applicable consumer protection agencies.
