Worst experience ever and we have stayed here often as I play live poker. We checked in and were told we couldn't get the king, non smoking room we had reserved weeks ahead of time and the only option we had was a double queen. I recently had injured my knee and asked for a room close to the elevator and was quicky told there were non available. We went to the room, used the bathroom and went downstairs to gamble. Upon our return there was water on the bathroom floor from the toilet and the hair drier was inoperable. I went to the front desk and requested a different room and was told there were non available. Now this is a large hotel and there aren't that many cars around on this Sunday evening so I can only imagine why there are no rooms available. I was told maintenance would be up in 10 minutes. Thirty minutes later they showed up and after changing some parts said it would take an additional 2 to three hours to repair and we should get another room. I explained there weren't any. They went down to the desk and returned with room keys for a different room. This room was located on the smoking floor and situated at the very end of the hotel which is an extended walk for my bad knee. We should have checked out!! Upon leaving I asked for some compensation for the experience and was told nothing could be done. I explained this would then be last time staying here and the hostess said, I'm sorry, have a nice day! The Horseshoe had been a great place to stay and play but now I'll stay at Southland Casinoa nd drive the 30 minutes to play poker.

The facilities show wear and tear. Scratches, missing paint, etc. It was dark in the room, it could stand to have better lighting. Clean towels were not taken care of and had to be requested.

The room was wonderful loved the view the tub and the beds

TVs was kinda small but it was fine

Proximity of restaurants

The view out the window was enormous industrial pipes that sent a glare through the window with the sun shining off of them.
