We liked the location - waves on the beach were nice and gentle, it was very close to a lot of beach bars, and there was a shaded area with loungers that were great to use for reading next to the beach. Main problem with the resort was the hot water - generally there wasn't any. The best we ever got was a lukewarm shower, after running the water for several minutes to try to get it hot.

This is the perfect "anti" chain "hotel"- really more like condos. Lots of people we met were owners on their one month stay. Love the mix of visitors- not all US. Lots of Canadians and others. Very quite beach- gets cruise day visitors who then go home at the end of the day. Literally an empty beach on the days there were no ships. Service here (and everywhere) is so slow- we do our best to get on island time but it wears on you after a while. This property needs more umbrellas at the pool and is looking old and worn. Having said all that- we had a great, relaxed two week stay and the people are really especially nice.

Great location for a great price! Walking distance to numerous restaurants and clubs. Nice private beach that was never crowded unless some cruise ship folks come in for a few short visits. Lovely ocean view on third floor - but lack of elevators could be a problem for some.

This was such a nice place to stay. Super convent to loads of restaurants and bars. The beach was great and poolside was such a pleasure to relax there and catch the local monkeys playing around.

Excellent restaurant hours and service. A lovely pool and beach, on the sunny side. Access to water activities and a local bus service. Taxis always available.

Excellent location; staff helpful but service very slow. Could do with fogging mosquitoes and pesky flies. Also no drinks menu on offer but food very reasonably priced and choice satisfactory at the resort itself and/or in nearby eateries. Transport very expensive considering the distances/size of the island.
