Lido Beach Resort - Sarasota

Everything was wonderful, not one complaint at all! The property was beautiful, every employee we met was so helpful and showed they cared about the service they give, the shuttle to St. Armands Circle was appreciated since we did not have a car, food and drinks were delicious, great pools and loved there was an adult only, the beach with lounge and umbrella was magnificent! Cannot wait until I visit again!

Lido Beach was one of the best vacations my husband and Ihave ever had from start to finish. Their customer service is amazing. One person was better than the next shout out to Jasmin, who went over and above to make us feel welcomed and cared for. To the valet group that was so friendly and welcoming every time we left and returned. To the guys down at The Beach getting your chairs and umbrellas they were so helpful and friendly. Shout out to the bartenders at the Tiki bar that had a smile on their face every day a great customer service. To the ladies at the front desk who were just so accommodating and pleasant. It was the most seamless trip we ever had everything is right there. The food was amazing. The grounds were kept impeccably clean. The whole vibe was tropical relaxing and accommodating. I can’t say enough about this establishment. They must be wonderful to work for because everyone there was a delight we were there for a 10 year anniversary and we’re treated like royalty.

The customer service throughout the resort was excellent. The beach, pools and Tiki Bar were great! Torie, Doug and Tariq behind the Tiki Bar and Jenni (among others) serving the pool deck, take great care of their customers and create a very fun atmosphere! We can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Lido Beach Resort the second week of June. The hotel location was great, beautiful clear water at the beach. The service here was the best I have experienced at any USA resort!! Everyone was so nice and responsive. We enjoyed a beachfront king studio in the palms tower. It was clean and comfortable and the bed was very comfy. We used the fridge so we could grab lunch in our room. Beautiful view of the ocean. The rocking chairs on the balcony was a nice touch! We spent time at the adult pool and the beach. We ate at all the restaurants. All were fantastic. We had a rental car and self parked in the garage. It was easy and convenient. I will return!! Highly recommend. Well worth the price.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff is prompt and friendly and overall the hotel seems very well organized. We did like how you can just text your questions during the stay and you get a response very quickly. We especially enjoyed breakfast at Drift. The hotel and room was very clean. We did feel that that the queen sized beds were a little uncomfortable so perhaps that would be an improvement. ***My only complaint is the FL Resident Discount*** When I booked the room, the FL Resident Discount was available, however, we opted for a “Toes in the Sand” package because we were concerned that there wouldn’t be enough umbrellas available. We also assumed since the room was available and we booked the room, that we would still be eligible for the FL Resident Discount. Unfortunately after talking to several staff members, including the front desk, they all said that the reservation could not be “modified” regardless of the same room being available online for the FL Resident Discount. In order for other residents like myself to continue to go to the resort, I would suggest that they apply that discount to guests. If daily charges can be added, then obviously the cost of the room can be “modified.”

Location is prime and the atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. The room felt like a mini apartment with a beautiful ocean view. Our AC gave out on the third day, but the maintenance crew came quickly and fixed it. They were super kind and funny, and I appreciated the small talk while they worked. The only downside for me was the mattress and pillows. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, and the pillows were too bulky, which left my neck and shoulders hurting. I ended up buying a flatter pillow during our stay. Valet service was 5 stars. John greeted us with a smile every single time and was incredibly kind throughout our stay. At checkout, Luca pulled our car and was very nice as well. The front desk communicated very well, and I loved that we could text them directly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Meal was top notch, but the real star of the evening was our waiter, Oreco. Hands down the kindest, most attentive, and best waiter we have ever had. Truly phenomenal. He made our evening.

We all had a great time with beautiful views and delicious food that was served by Julio who did a first class job looking after us with a smile.
