Alexandra Resort - All-Inclusive

Stay was completely pleasant. Staff was very friendly and fun. My wife and I learned and played Luda with Shaq and Barbie. Cheeky was extremely funny in showing my family caribbean dance moves. Popo gave good customer service and made good late food. Lastly, I want to thank Rh@zzor for taking his time to show us the entire property and making our stay a memorable one. Thank each of you'll and the rest of the staff for making our vacation a remarkable one.

We almost didn’t choose this resort due to a number of negative reviews. I’m glad we did. The location was beautiful, the newly (I believe partially) renovated room that we paid extra for was nice, and spacious. It was a smaller resort, which was a perfect environment for us to relax and enjoy. Just enough- but not too much to navigate. We didn’t have to think about much, just walking down to the property central grounds and everything we needed was in reach. Having booked at a sizable discount on promotion, I feel that what we received as inclusions was reasonable in that price. If we had more people in our reservation- such as teen kids- that would raised the daily rate for a family visit, or booked at less of a discount for my friend and me, I would consider more and other resort options weighing against one another in a different price level. There were nice food options, the breakfast buffet and the jerk-shack were standouts. Black rock for dinner was really nice too. I struggled with a few limitations, the dinner buffets especially, due to a shellfish food allergy. (The curse of loving the beach and its typical fare offerings) This caused me to have a few repetitive meal items for safety’s sake. The staff was knowledgeable and understanding- plus willing to help me as much as they could to be safe and provide options even if they had to go confirm safety or alternatives with the chef. I was super happy with the kindness and welcoming nature of the food service members and all others we interacted with. If you are looking for pool and beach service to your chair, I don’t think they had that here. It’s a nice to have especially in larger properties, although the grounds were small enough that it wasn’t a big deal to get what you needed. The entire staff was tremendous, even when extremely busy at the rush times. The cleaning team kept the room very clean and stocked with towels, select wet bar items, etc…the daily service was tremendous and appreciated. Having dish detergent at the kitchen sink, a small welcome box of individual laundry detergent would be nice, and perhaps a few snack items in the room or refrigerator would make it even better. All in all, it was beautiful, relaxing, easy to manage, we had a comfortable and nice room, and really enjoyed our celebration getaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to return at the right price. Based on other reviews I’ve seen, I’ll mention- If you are seeking Paris, Chicago, or Manhattan type Star rated dining- please arrive with expectations that this is a different kind of experience that transcends certain dining styles. Venture off property for local fare and immerse yourself in a truly different island life culture. Be patient, kind, and take in everything that this beautiful, unique island has to offer. It really is special. Thank you Alexandra team, you made our visit feel like home. We are grateful to have spent this little window of time with you.

Pros- rooms come with washers and dryers. Everything within resort is close, friendly staff. Very clean resort. Nice variety of food. Pool and beach area are very nice. Drinks are made with top shelf liquor. Plenty of shade for those who need/ want it. Great shuttle to Blue Haven to use their facilities and go to the wonderful Fire and Ice restaurant. Thumbs up to the night manager there who recommended food at their place. Loved water aerobics classes. Cons- only 1 restaurant has AC. There is no place to escape the heat except your room. Food truck restaurants had very slow service ( tried 2x), too many steps with no ramps ( to get to beach)and at time no rails. ( to get to smoothie restaurant). Activities were cancelled or lacked promoting them for more involvement. ( need speaker system announcement or outdoor signs). I was really looking forward to the cooking class that never happened.

The food was good. The entertainment group was great. The shows and beach recreation as well as the friendless of the staff makes me say the Staff is exceptional. I had a great stay I will go back.

Zero-Star Review: Complete Management Failure Regarding Guest Safety ​Rating: 0/5 (A complete breakdown of hospitality and security protocols) ​While the location of Alexandra Resort is beautiful, our experience was critically marred by an incident of guest harassment and the complete failure of resort management to respond or offer assistance. ​During our stay, my wife and I were subjected to deeply rude, demanding, confrontational, and disrespectful behavior from another guest—identified to us as a long-time loyal patron of the resort. This guest not only verbally harassed us but also physically interfered with our personal items at the beach. ​Immediately following the incident, we sought support as instructed by the resort's welcome materials. We sent a detailed email report to the contact provided in the welcome letter, Assistant General Manager Hermian Griffith (hgriffith@alxandraresort.com), whose signature appears on our welcome letter alongside that of General Manager Aleisa Walkin. ​The failure that compels this zero-star review is this: Assistant General Manager Hermian Griffith never replied to the email, never followed up, and never acknowledged our report. ​We were harassed, reported the issue to the highest available authority at the time, and were met with complete silence. For the remainder of our vacation, we felt profoundly insecure and had to constantly watch our backs, taking steps such as seating ourselves close to the security personnel on the beach, fearful that the aggressive guest would approach us again. ​A luxury resort’s most fundamental obligation is to ensure the safety and security of its paying guests. When we needed help, when we reported harassment and physical interference, the management—specifically Mrs. Griffith—failed entirely, transforming a beautiful island getaway into a stressful and fearful experience. This is not just poor service; it is a critical lapse in duty. We received no help, no assurance, and no communication after being treated in this manner on their property. Avoid if you value your security and expect competent management support.

4th time in 4 years at The Alexandra! Everything was exceptional. Beautiful Beach, pool, and suites. Food, drinks & staff are amazing. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing time with no stress on the most beautiful beach.

Pro’s: the food was delicious, especially when they did Caribbean night. You could always find something to eat. The breakfast buffet with the fresh omelet station was good. The entertainment was good! Cheeky was the best MC/Host. Razzor was THE best manager I’ve experienced in a resort. He knew my group by name as well visited the Blue Haven sister resort and was open to feedback. We enjoyed the free shuttle between the 2 properties. Con’s: No separate area for children and you’re always on alert to be mindful of them being around. Everything entertainment wise shuts down at 10pm. I think drinks until midnight but there’s nothing to do but sit at the bar and talk. The rooms were not worth the cost! Small and our had a smell we could not clear. They are in need of renovations/upgrades. They need to do better with the grounds keeping. We were up before they were seeing trash from the previous night. Next time I would choose to stay at the Blue Haven resort.

Alexandra was a good resort although it could have been better in aspects. The food especially could’ve been better but Irie’s was the best food. The fish and jerk and curry gotta at Irie’s was top notch. The entertainers, Kimron, Tash, Rh@zzor, and Barbie made our last two nights really fun and memorable with the events they set up. They would be the reasons we’d come back.

Booked with Air Canada Vacations and the pictures are not what you see onsite at all. There were 5 of us, 3 rooms. For what we paid - this was lack lustre and not worth the money at all. And we met 8 couples that all felt the same way. Think Cuba food and liquor at Ritz prices. We arrived late to the hotel because Air Canada departure was at 2 pm. At check in we did not have a cold towel or welcome drink or tour of the property as advertised. Upon entry to our rooms, we immediately had Motel 6 vibes. We had to store items in the laundry room - yes, 30% of your room is a hot water tank (that you need to get maintenance to adjust if you want hot water) and a washer /dryer. I don't think I have seen a smaller shower. There is no hand soap, no robe, no slippers, no tub. Everything you see/hear online is the smaller sister resort Blue Haven. The beach is stunning - there is no beach service. You are getting your own cheap liquor and same food (same food everyday). Blue Haven has better food, service and premium liquor. There are also no side tables at the beach. There are 5 in total for 100 chairs. Beds are very hard, even if you ask for a topper. The AC unit will wake you out of a coma sleep and blow directly on your face and freeze you out. If you have an adjoining door - you might as well just share the room . My son had neighbours that watched old hockey games until 5 am everyday. We were in 3201 and our adjoining room had workers renovating until 11:30 every night. We called down, we complained at the front, we even spoke to the workers to please stop. My son had booked a private dinner at Blue Haven (130 USD ea) for his proposal and had booked a photographer. They cancelled it with no notification to my son. He showed up and had to eat at the grill. Thanks for ruining what should have been a great evening. Overall, overpaid and underwhelmed. If you are coming to Turks stay anywhere else. Shout out to Gaelle and Sylvie - always smiling and their service is superb. The staff are all great.

Absolutely lovely resort. The beach was large and spacious with plenty of lounge chairs and the beach was well maintained. The food was great with lots of variety and different cuisines for everyone, plus lots of seafood options! I am mostly writing this review because I want to express how amazing the entertainment staff were. From the very start, they made us feel welcomed. They always made us laugh and made sure to get everyone involved in all the activities during the day and night. Notably, Lettuce, Rh@zzor, Tash, Shaq, and Barbie stood out. Not only for my group but for every guest, Rh@zzor made sure everyone was content and he went above and beyond for everything. Any question or help from guests or even staff, he made sure to be there and solve it. As simple as grabbing beach towels for guests and finding them on the beach to hand it to them. In general, the live music at night was very good and the restaurant's had good quality food.
