Northwest Point Resort

Our fabulous experience started when we were at home. Lisa was of a great help since our booking started. Her place is bright and extremely clean. To our surprise and benefit we had everything we needed to start: a couple of dishwasher pods, enough cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner (!!), dish soap. toilet paper, and alcohol and disinfectant that these days are priceless!! Lisa was always available for questions or bringing solutions. Also when we asked for extra supplies, like toilet paper and soap. She is a superb host !. Cleaning service was available at extra cost but the place is very easy to maintain and the supplies are right there! There were also a beach umbrella and beach chairs that we used to visit other beaches (100% recommended!) The condo had all types of appliances and pans and pots and cutlery, nothing was missing. We even baked a birthday cake! The oven and microwave worked perfectly. The complex is the perfect size for a family with young kids, easy access to the pool and beach. The best of this place is probably the location: isolated form the business of downtown, but a short 15-20 min car ride to it. This is a perfect place to combine pleasure and work (if needed). The wifi works excellent. The beach is wide and even though has seaweed it is cleaned every other day. It is a great beach for long walks and relax listening to the sounds of the sea and little waves. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back and recommend this place, and mostly Lisa!

WE LOVE NWP!!! We stayed in Unit 101 - and worked with Lisa Franklin personally to book our trip! Lisa had generously donated her unit as a silent auction item to help raise money for the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation. My Girlfriend and I bid on this trip together and we won, so we planned our trip and brought our Husbands along! We didn't know what to expect, but it is Turks and Caicos and a Dream Vacation! Lisa allowed us to extend our stay and was flexible with our booking, she was so helpful with giving tips and tricks on what to pack, giving suggestions on daily activities to participate in and, giving us a list of the "must see" areas on the Island. The resort was just as she described, and the directions to get to the resort were simple and easy to follow. The condo unit was perfect for us (4 adults - one who is an amputee) It has all of the amentities and items needed to cook when we wanted, to make blender drinks, and to feel like we were at a home away from home! Charles and Eddie were super to deal with while on resort, helping us navigate on cool places to visit, where to get fresh fish from and then even cooking it with/for us at the community BBQ! The resort is clean - the maintenance crew work around the clock making sure that everything is just perfect. The Pool is clean, and a perfect temp, the hot tub is such a great way to finish the day. The beach was a bit windy (typical for the time of the year that we were there) - but that was the best part beacuse of the Wind surfers who kept us entertained - We saw Sea Turtles swim right off the shoreline, lots of fish, and we even saw a sting ray. The beach was quiet, we had the whole beach to oursevles, which made it feel like we were on a private island :) We truly enjoyed being out of town, away from the hussle and bussle of Grace Bay - We rented a car from Scooter Bob's and we had no issues with driving, we went into town to explore difference beaches, tour around to look at the homes on the island, and to eat at the local cuisine! Every night we would come home and go for a swim and a hot tub to finish off the evening in a relaxing way! If you are looking for a chance to unwind, relax and feel like you are in paradise - Northwest Point is definately the spot to do it at! Lisa will make sure that you have the best experience - I can guarantee you that! Thank you Lisa for everything - we had a blast, we can't wait to return!

I myself rely on these reviews so here goes mine. We got a condo through AirBnb. (I guess all the units are privately owned) being our first time in TCI, I wanted to experience the magnificent turquoise waters but stay somewhere affordable and still nice as the island is very expensive. And this was it! The entire week we drove around (you will definitely need to rent a car) and came to the conclusion that this was a great decision. Resort is lovely, clean, private, enough people there to not make it feel totally empty. Just giving any first time travelers a heads up that this resort does not have the gorgeous beach that you see in magazines. You will need to take a 30 minute drive to the other part of the island (which we did daily not a problem) Our favorite places were Sapodilla Bay, and of course Grace Bay that’s closer to the Eastern part of the island. There are no clear signs anywhere, we literally had to use lots of google maps, a map we found in a magazine, and just talking to other visitors to find out about places to go. Another tip: ask the landlord if there are beach chairs and umbrellas available at your unit, otherwise you will be paying $40 for an umbrella and 2 chairs at public beaches if you decide to venture, and not all beach have those available so you will end up buying your own at the store. I thought this was a funny tip from another traveler to pack favorite snacks, but when we went to the grocery store the prices weren’t funny at all! Packing things like trail mix and snack bars would have been awesome. Everything on the island is very expensive including eating out. We didn’t anticipate on cooking but because of prices only ate out once a day, either late lunch or early dinners. Hope this helps ! The turquoise waters will take your breath away!

The place is great. Fantastic with kids! The only problem is they can not decide if they are a resort hotel or an Air B&B. So sometimes getting some services were a little hard.

some problems with internet connection other than that pretty good

The hotel was nice and clean, right off the beach and away from the center of everything. It was a bit secluded and private, ideal if you are looking to get away for the crowds. If you have kids and they are looking for other kids to play with, this may not be ideal. Large pool available, beautiful rooms with ocean views and balcony.

Very nice overall. About 15 minute drive to grocery store or anything of interest but beach was great with a good reef right off the property. At the busiest time there were only 6 people on the enormous beach so it's very private and quite. Everyone was friendly and even though the restaurant wasn't anything special to look at the food was great. Room was huge with 3 bedrooms AND 3 bathrooms! Poor wireless (an island problem apparently), air conditioning broke for a day and some areas of the property look rundown but the value was tremendous and I would go again in a heart beat.

If you are looking for a peaceful, romantic, and secluded getaway, Northwest Point is the place for you. In regards to advisement, I would suggest a car rental and bring some groceries with you if you decided to stay exclusively on the resort. The double digit tax on dining can added up pretty quickly in your wallet.

By far the most comfortable stay we've had in an unfamiliar place. Everything was up-to-date and the A/C worked wonders. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would go again :)

We only spent our last night here, the staff was super friendly, the room was ok, but not quite the same as our first location, and the beach did not come close to Grace Bay, this hotel was much quieter but the facilities were quite old, restaurant, pool etc.
