Location is far from anything. If you want to cook, rent a car and be alone this is the spot. It’s not a resort, no food, no restaurant, no gym. Beach has a lot of algae.

This resort is a rare gem! The setting is gorgeous! There is a lovely wooden walkway through lush green foliage to a beautiful, white sand beach, with ample palapas and lounge chairs. The pool and hot tub are wonderful - love the surrounding decor. The resort is well maintained and very clean. Our condo had everything we needed, including a full, well equipped kitchen, living area, bedroom, washer and dryer, and an awesome balcony facing the ocean and pool. Because of its remote location, the resort is quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax without all the crowds, though the people there were very friendly. Lisa Franklin, who manages the resort, was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this resort if you want a special place to enjoy!

"An beautiful oasis during the pandemic"

10.0

We really enjoyed our stay at Northwest Point Resort (NWP)! Yes it is off the beaten path but that's the real beauty of this resort (especially during a pandemic). Our 3 bedroom unit (201) was great as was the pool, hot tub, and beach. Cooked in for most of our meals but did venture to Grace bay for a few dinners (da Conche Shack, Coco Bistro, Infiniti). The drive ranges from 25-35 minutes and the last few miles to NWP are on a dirt road -- navigate the bumps and watch your speed. The beautiful walk along the beach to Northwest Point National Park was a great way to start the day. We arranged scuba diving with Aqua TCI -- a first class operation.

I enjoyed my stay here. The attention from Lisa the property manager was excellent, she helped us with situating our rooms and was very helpful with helping make our stay a pleasant one. Also we met Angela who works there and she was kind and helpful as well.

We loved our stay, it was so peaceful, especially when compared to Grace Bay Resorts. the facility is beautiful and spaced out well. Our two bedroom was perfect with the kitchen very well stocked with whatever utensil, pans and kitchen needs you may have.

"BEST PLACE TO RELAX AND GET AWAY"

10.0

Northwest Point Resort is one of those "best-kept secrets" kind-a-resorts. Located on the northwest portion of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Providenciales, it is truly a quiet, relaxing resort that will allow users to get away from the stress of modern-day life. The resort is a very safe, gated location that is at least 3 miles (5 km) from the end of the paved portion of Millenium Highway. Although our stay's manager was not present, she was available and communicated by text frequently. The staff were unobtrusive but always visible throughout our stay. One of them even assisted us with a flat tire repair. Although the restaurant was not open due to COVID 19 restrictions, it appears to be an open-air style building that would make for lovely nightly dinners. The resort offers a few amenities like free use of an ocean kayak, beach toys, and life preservers. There are also a few pool amenities near the restaurant to include free books to read and pool floatation devices to relax in the water with. While the restaurant is closed, I would make a few suggestions. Rent a rugged SUV (like a JEEP WRANGLER) as the unpaved portion of Millennium Highway is riddled with potholes leading to the resort. Also, stop by one of the grocery stores on Leeward Highway prior to arriving at the resort. Be prepared to pay a great deal more for food in the store as the prices are very high.

"Perfect Place"

10.0

My wife and I loved our stay at the NWP Resort. It was a perfect location as we love places that are more secluded and the beach is so close to all the units. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the day or night. Lisa Franklin was very helpful and communicative. She made our stay personable and uncomplicated! It is located on the north tip of the island where one can walk miles around to the other side if desired, all along a very secluded area of Providenciales. We would love to come back with our whole family to show them the beauty of Turks and Caicos!

"Secluded, Relaxing, Family Friendly"

8.0

We just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay at NWP. We stayed in unit 308, in building 2 - and like many others, rented from Airbnb host Lisa. We put this trip together in a few short weeks, due to COVID restrictions changing our plans... I posted on TA a "what would you do" question in the forum and was advised against booking NWP because it was so far away from Grace Bay. I am so glad I didn't let this feedback deter our decision to book here! That being said, I do think it's important to be real about our experience, and what to expect when staying in this community. We were a party of 6, in a 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Penthouse. We had two bathrooms, a full kitchen, two balconies and a common living space, in addition to the bedrooms. This worked out really, really well for the two families traveling together. We all had our own space, and could come together for meals, snacks, etc. Two of the three bedrooms were ocean front, with balcony access directly from the bedrooms. We were ocean front - for less than 1/2 the cost of ocean front accommodations in Grace Bay. The views and breezes were amazing!! We had a 180 degree view of the ocean from the master balcony! We explored the island almost every day - we rented a van for part of our stay and then had to trade it in for a couple of compact cars for part of the stay. All of the vehicles handled the gravel road without issue. Most of the places that we traveled to were only 20-25 minutes from NWP... we had one 30 minute drive to our boat charter - on the NE side of the island, but we found going to dinner, exploring beaches (including several trips to Grace Bay) to be easy and painless. We felt safe driving back and forth, even at night - though, to be fair, we were usually home by 9pm. The beach, and selection of beach toys was more than enough to satisfy our traveling party of adults and kids. We built sand castles, kayaked, played in the surf, etc. Yes, there's seagrass on the beach. It was groomed daily, and honestly, it was cleaner than Long Bay. Is it the bright blue, sandy beach of Grace Bay - no, but we also had the beach mostly to ourselves when we weren't out exploring. We had no trouble finding pool chairs - and rarely shared the pool with more than one other family. Because this is a private community - we did run into a couple of owners who, you could tell, were not pleased that units were available for vacation rentals. One woman was upset the chairs had been rearranged, she also was upset when someone walked away from the pool without closing the umbrella. In the 10 days we were there we never saw anyone abuse the facilities, mistreat anything, etc. - so it was a little disheartening that she was so vocal about her dissatisfaction with vacationers visiting this resort. There were some maintenance things in our unit that needed some attention - but nothing earth shattering or vacation ruining. We also didn't find out that the restaurant was closed until we landed and reviewed the instructions to check in on the app. We had counted on being able to have a couple of meals at the restaurant (including our first nights dinner) so that was the only truly disappointing thing that I wish we had been told in advance. All in all, we had a great time and would not hesitate to rent from Lisa, or stay at NWP on a future visit. We prefer the secluded location, to the "crowds" of Grace Bay. But, if you want to be close to the action, or be able to walk to dinner - this is not the location for you.
