Great vibes, top food and great drinks especially during happy hour. The gin and tonics, passion fruit margaritas were especially good.

Yorsi and yelzin are the absolute best—great happy hour . There’s a pool table and daily specials! Great place for families

The hotel is built like it’s part of nature, with trees all around each building. The beach is literally steps away from the hotel and restaurant. The rooms were great. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was expertly presented and tasted great. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful…very attentive to each of us and very friendly. Alexis, Serrano, Carlos, Shirley, and others whose names I’m forgetting were all so professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Bosque del Mar. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made our vacation special was the incredible staff. Huge thank you to Fabio, Serrano, Sofia, Alexis, and Stephanie for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. The hotel made everything so easy to plan—we went diving, horseback riding, snorkeling, and jet skiing, all seamlessly arranged through the hotel. Zero stress, just an unforgettable experience. Friendly people, great service, and an amazing vacation. We can’t wait to come back! PURA VIDA!!

Not sure how this expensive resort receives such positive reviews. Yes, the staff is friendly and hard working (as was our experience throughout Costa Rica), but the resort is dated and tired and just generally in need of an overhaul. Our suite has 2 broken TVs, a broken lamp, hard beds and an uncomfortable older sofa and 1 chair. The ground floor “garden suite” windows overlooked walkways so drapes needed to be closed. One single towel hook in the bathroom and no toilet paper holder. No dresser to unpack clothes. Left us feeling like all of these 5 star reviews are sus.

We didn’t actually stay at the hotel, but we needed a place to rest and stay for a few hours prior to our flight as we had just driven in from arenal very early in the morning. Bryan was so helpful in arranging a massage for us and we were able to dine à la carte at the restaurant and we were able to use the amenities of the hotel/the beach facilities for the morning before showering and getting on the plane. Thank you for your hospitality!

Stayed here with two girlfriends for a week. The property is beautiful, and thoughtfully designed with the landscape in mind, with convenient beach access to a few different restaurants as well. But what really stood out was the service. Unmatched! I travel often and I had the best service I’ve ever experienced here. Also important: we felt very safe as three women. The entire front desk staff: jhoan, Bryan, Maite, Jean Carlos, Davis, and Diego were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful with recommendations and booking excursions, and the wait staff (special shout out to Jonathan and Carlos) made us feel like we were among family. We so enjoyed getting to know this amazing staff, they are genuinely SO kind and proud to share their culture. They made it extra hard to leave. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon!!!

Magnifique hôtel au milieu de la végétation. Piscine très agréable. Les chambres sont modernes, grandes et très bien équipées. La plage est magnifique. Le personnel est très agréable.

We had an amazing experience. Bryan A is a fantastic concierge who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us feel welcome as guests of the hotel. He arranged timely massages keeping in mind our departure time, stored our luggage and anticipated all of our needs. The staff here in the spa were also excellent, friendly and professional. The grounds were beautiful and clean. This is a great location beach side!
