Hotel Bosque del Mar, Playa Hermosa

We spent 5 nights here at the tail end of our Costa Rican vacation. It was a perfect resort for young families, right next to a nice calm beach with velvety soft sand. The restaurant was very convenient with lots of delicious optionsand our daughter loved interacting with our servers (Carlos, Shirley, and Alexis).

We had an absolutely incredible time. The facilities are beautifully maintained and provide a unique stay in a tropical rain forest and a beach. The staff, particularly Bryan, were wonderful. Bryan got all our luggage quickly to our room on our first night, made sure we had everything we needed, and was a smiling and friendly presence for our stay!

This hotel was simply amazing! Such a relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations. Great location steps away from Playa Hermosa with an onsite restaurant that served delicious breakfast offerings that come included with your stay. Rooms are very spacious and very well decorated with all the modern amenities included. Our view from windows was gorgeous and it felt like we were looking out at the rainforest from inside our room. On top of all this, the hotel staff was extremely accommodating and did an amazing job customizing a delicious chocolate cake for our daughter’s birthday. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Bosque Del Mar for making our trip to Costa Rica a very memorable one. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Bosque Del Mar for three nights during our trip to Costa Rica. This hotel is beautifully maintained, with exceptional facilities and an outstanding staff. During our stay, we went to Happy Hour at the bar, where we were served by Genesis. She was incredibly warm and engaging, making our experience truly memorable. It’s people like Genesis who make staying at Bosque Del Mar so enjoyable and inspire us to return!

What a relaxing vacation with beautiful views. We took advantage of the ocean and went on a fishing trip. They were so kind as to meet us in the dining room to go over ideas on how we wanted them to fix our black fin and yellowfin tuna. Jonathan, Yorsi, Sofia and Yetsin made such a great team and made us feel at home. This trip of a lifetime was perfect! The food was so much better than our other hotel. The view was gorgeous and the rooms immaculate. My 80 yr old mom came with us and our patios were adjoining so that we each had privacy but also access when needed. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!

Amazing hotel, right on the beach, with a nice pool. Breakfast is excellent, Carlos and Alexis at the restaurant were great with our 2 year old daughter. Good restaurants down the beach. We went in October which is supposed to be the rainy season. Great time to travel- nothing is crowded, mornings are beautiful and it rains for a few hours in the late afternoon.

The hotel and its restaurant offer top-of-the-line service! Everyone is so thoughtful and caring. We celebrated my birthday at their restaurant, and the team — Kiana, Yelzin, Alberto, and Yorzi — went above and beyond to make it special. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our evening unforgettable!
