Welcoming, friendly and very helpful staff. Ample free parking. Comfortable clean and well appointed room. Comfortable bed. Storage space ample for single room. Perfect for my purposes breaking a long journey.

I was checked into a very small room. It hadn't been cleaned. There was dirt on the carpet and a used ear bud next to the chair. You could barely turn around in the shower room. I wish i hadn't checked the mattress! When i told them on reception they moved me to a bigger room. On the surface it was lovely but whilst turning on the radiator i found lots of dirt on the floor by the bed and 2 big cut toe nails. It was disgusting. Both rooms looked like they hadn't been hoovered for some time. It is very tired and doesn't look like the pictures.
