Old Rose and Crown Hotel Birmingham

The room and bedding was very comfortable. Nice quiet room, pretty good Wi-Fi coverage etc. The grounds are stunning and there are lovely walks close to the hotel that you can take with good views of the city, also close to the golf course.

There was no food available, or breakfast, the restaurant didn't appear open or operational, certainly for breakfast. There were some cob webs and spiders in my room and bathroom, not necessarily a big deal.

Location is its main attraction for me. Set in the park with the beautiful woods . Very close to the city but in country setting. I had end bedroom with large bay window overlooking park..Staff were very helpful ,my heavy suitcase was carried to and from my room with a smile.

The cafe where you can get breakfast is adjacent to one of the ponds ,a beautiful spot but not good if you have to walk in the rain.
