A welcomed change of pace from corporate hotel chain stays for this business traveler. Wonderful hosts!

We reserved this hotel through Expedia but when we showed up, staff stated that he did not have a room for us and gave us no explanation. We called owner;s number but did not answer either. Shocking story is that we were charged for the room that they turned us away. Expedia assured us for refund but buyers be aware!. Please check all negative review before you book. This occurs frequently.

They were so extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and even helping us get reservations. Wonderful staff!

Very comfortable, well kept, and very peaceful. Great hospitality. The only place I want to stay while working in Columbus.

We stepped back in time with the beautiful decor and architecture of this gorgeous home! Our bed was hands down the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!! We will be back!!

The night before my wedding, I thought it would be great to have one last sleepover with my best friend, matron of honor. I decided the Pound House would be a great place to have a unique experience rather than staying at a regular hotel. Everything was ok, until we decided to settle in for the night and go to bed. We heard scratching sounds that sounded like they were coming from within the walls or inside the ceiling. We weren’t sure if it was a cat or some sort of animal outside of the house, or some sort of animal with in the house. Unfortunately, we decided to leave around 11:30pm and go stay somewhere else. There was no way we were going to be able to rest.

Property was so unique. Wonderful house in the Columbus, GA Historical area. Owners were so accommodating. It was pleasure. Don and Lucy Mullane

when I got there and the gentleman took me to my room that was reserved, quickly realized I did not have two queen beds I did not have a Jacuzzi. when I was trying to find the reservations with expedia.com I couldn't figure out how to get the specifics of the reservation to show the gentleman so eventually we were put into a room with a king bed a small hot tub Jacuzzi (whatever) and my daughter had to sleep on an air mattress. to top it off it was 95° give or take they did not have the air on in the room and it took all night to cool off. It was horrible sleeping on either bed.

The property is fabulous. When we arrived Mamie was sitting on the front porch as though she had been waiting for us. She gave us a tour of our room and explained it unique features. A very nice B&B to witch we will be returning.
