The staff was very helpful, courteous and friendly.

Smelled like mildew in the hallway. Shower had old used soap. So I know it hadn't been cleaned but I always clean the room anyway. It's under ownership and you can tell. 😶🤔

I live out of state, but Louisiana is home. I travel home at least once a quarter. This is the only place I stay. I have known the staff for many years, and it always feels like seeing an old friend when I arrive. Yes, the buildings are past due for renovations, but I also know the renovations are finally on schedule and I couldn't be happier. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is always good, and the staff are the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. As a woman that travels alone, I have always felt safe here and the location is perfect. Finally, someone had enough sense to put a hotel far enough off the main road traffic noises don't bother guest.

The building is older and past due for renovations; however, the upgrades are supposed to be finished by the end of the year. If you want clean, comfortable, quiet and safe look no further.
