Villa Varadero

Staff was great, location and beach wonderful. Lower end all inclusive. Good was so-so but we didn’t mind it. Went in with low expectations for the price/previous reviews and were pleased with the overall experience.

Quaint, authentic Mexican boutique hotel. Amazing palm tree, beach, ocean views from room. Close easy access to beach, great palapas for shade. Fresh local fruit and made-to-order breakfast, and very helpful staff. Modern roof-top pools with view. Expedia site didn’t make it clear that it wasn’t a full all-inclusive when booking, but we ended up preferring the breakfast-only option included as the local seafood & restaurants in the area are excellent and affordable.

Not what we were expecting. We only used this hotel for a night since we were waiting for our flight back home. Our flight was until 7pm so we required to stay a bit longer at the hotel and we were not allowed. My kids got very bored since there wasn't much to do. We have used so many resorts in Puerto Vallarta and so far, this has been the most unpleasant one.

I like the large rooms and didn't like the noise.

We stayed in a Jr. Suite which included a bedroom with 2 double beds and 3 couches in the living room that could be used as twin beds. There was also a kitchenette with dishes and access to cookware. We had a large balcony that overlooked the courtyard and the beach. The room was a little dated but overall clean and comfortable. We had the all inclusive and the food options were fairly limited but food was available from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. The beach on the property was beautiful and we spent many hours on the beach and in the water. Overall I would absolutely recommend and I would stay there again.

Pretty worn out hotel. The toilet had stains, the bathroom / tub needs full remodeling. The idea of carrying a plastic cup everywhere is ludacris. The hotel overall is worn out, rooms need a full uplift.

Not what I expected. No AC I’m the restroom. No lock in the restroom. Food not so great

Proximity to the beach was excellent. Room 1209 needs some upgrading. Bathroom broken. Flooded on us. Fridge not clean and unplugged. It should be plugged ready for customer. I had medication that needed refrigeration. Inconvenient to have to go back down to lobby to stand in line and ask them to put it in their fridge.

This is not a couple's place, hundreds of screaming kids in all the pools. There is no place to sit and just enjoy without hearing the screaming or looking at food on the floor. The wait staff tries to keep up. The drink selection is minimal at best with very low-grade options. Our room which was a kitchenette with an ocean view was fabulous except the noise of the screaming kids below. The food was maybe a rating of a 1. We checked out after 3 nights of a 7 night stay. This not a 3.5 star hotel maybe a 2 just because you have the option of all-inclusive. There was no wait staff to deliver drinks if you wanted to sit on the beach or in the chairs around the pool. Very disappointing.
