Hotel Punta Pescadero Paradise

The property was great - nice grounds, friendly staff. The food was great. Very quiet and a nice getaway. Dog friendly. Room was spacious with a bedroom and living room and huge patio overlooking the ocean. Loved it

One of our favorite vacays ever

We were really counting on the in-room WiFi for some work obligations while we stayed here. It was a deciding factor between several options and we chose this hotel based on that fact. In reality, they had very slow (like 4MB download, <0.5MB upload) speeds and it was only available in the common areas near the hotel office - nothing at the rooms. Really slow HughesNet connection, so don't count on video chat or even quality voice calls. The water was hot in only 2 or our 3 rooms we rented with friends. All of our rooms' exterior keyed doors were held in place with caulk, with cracks that could be seen through, and were lockable with only a single flip lock on the handle - no deadbolt or security chain. Seemed like a decently safe area, though. Great location, interesting beach.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful, however the staff was very rude! My husband asked for a bucket of ice, and they called him ugly names in Spanish, the food was not good, and highly overpriced! It was so bad we checked out 2 nights early and paid for another room in Los Barilles! Live and learn I guess!! Won’t be going back!!

We loved the quiet ambiance and how we could so easily stroll down to the beach for kayaking or snorkeling. A lovely place to relax.

Gem on the Sea of Cortez. The drive to the hotel was a bit challenging, 4WD would be best. Once there you will never want to leave - quiet, spacious rooms with a patio looking out onto the Sea. There is nothing like taking a swim, snorkel or kayak followed by amazing fresh orange juice and perfectly prepared food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were AMAZING.

Property is nice, food good, but you are somewhat isolated. Good spot to relax, however somewhat limited in activities.

Such a beautiful place! We are looking for activities in our travels and this was its only limitation. We snorkeled and saw lots of fish; whales, Manta rays jumping, dolphins occasionally seen- so magical! More comfortable kayaks and help identifying good snorkeling sites would have been great. The most important bit of info was how to get there- Google map took us to the dirt road along the water- which in a rental car was scary. I had a panic attack, as I was uncertain whether it was safe to continue to proceed. You can access much better going north on Hwy and coming in from the north!!!
