Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis - Edwardsville

This hotel was clean in the lobby and the breakfast was decent. The cleanliness in our room (#216), though, was lacking. The chair that was at the desk was absolutely disgusting. It had stains on it and a chunk of trash stuck in the back part of the seat. The bathroom vanity top had not been thoroughly cleaned. I had to wipe it off myself. The bathtub itself could have been clean but it was kind of hard to tell because the bottom of it was so old and dingy looking. There were random bits of trash here and there throughout the room. We had concerns about the sheets on our bed possibly not being fresh. The person at the front desk gave us clean sheets to put on ourselves. So, at 9:30 p.m. I was stripping down all of the bedding and putting clean sheets and pillow cases on. Each of the sheets had a small rip in them. I had planned to use the freezer in the mini fridge but it was so caked with ice, I couldn't. Thankfully, the comfort of the beds wasn't too bad (not too hard & not too plush). I wouldn't stay here again.

Had a room with 2 queens reserved. I Called ahead and advised of late check in. Arrived and no 2 queen room was available, all full. Was told would get a partial refund and would be accommodated with a King room because that was the only room left. No partial refund was actually provided and the shower was dirty.

Room wasn't cleaned when requested. We had to go and get our towels daily, phone didnt work and the TV didn't work at the entire hotel for 2 days. The night staff was absolutely miserable

The hotel (including our room) was clean. The front desk agents were nice. The pillows were AWFUL!!! The breakfast attends was NOT friendly. The hotel cannot control this, but there were guests above us who were pacing all night long.

Hotel where I usually stay was booked so I stayed here with a recommendation from a local. Area was convenient. Hotel was ok. Nothing special. Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast options were good though.

Its a nice hotel

The location is nice. I was giving the same room 2*5 microwave does not work. Not enough towels . And no toilette paper

Nice area , each time I visit there was little cover a half of role of towelett paper . So I had a extra role i has in my car. Not enough towels and was book with the same room twice didn't care for that. And the microwave didn't work
