Royal Palm Hotel

The rooms are always comfortable, we have been staying here for years and it is always a comfortable and homely stay. We usually book the penthouse and it never disappoints. The staff are wonderful and always go out of their way to accomodate us. I appreciated that there was full set of cutlery and crockery available in the room, as well as an ironing board and iron (something we usually request from housekeeping). I also appreciate that housekeeping are meticulous about ensuring that they maintain the rooms to great standards. Linen is always fresh and the rooms are clean and feel like home. The kitchen staff are really amazing, even accomodating my request for milk at 11pm! It sounds like a small thing, but at that time of the evening, when you just want a cup of tea to wind down, their willingness to help was just such a nice touch. Really really love the staff and how warm and helpful they are. This makes all the difference in choosing a place to stay, and its one of the main reasons why we always return. They are really great and always ready assist, regardless of the time.

On the one night, there was a car that was parked on the boulevard (directly across from the hotel) whose alarm was going off for 8 hours straight. Whilst this is no fault of the hotel, security in the area could do nothing to resolve the issue. This was directly outside our balcony, so as you can imagine, no one slept that night. All in all, its a lovely stay. Cant complain about much.

The room was spacious, everything was neat and in its place. Room service was so effective. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Perfect location, we will definitely be coming back soon.
