"Very nice stay in historic area of Charleston, with oiled world grace & modern amenities."

Really nice visit at this inn built in old style with modern amenities. Staff was uniformly friendly & helpful, facilities were super clean, well-decorated & maintained. Location is perfect- not too much in the thick of it, so it is quiet and somewhat secluded. Breakfast was fine. Wine time & later night cookies are a nice touch. Bikes available for guests & workout room!

"Lovely historic hotel, lovingly attended."

Love the historic building and general location in the historic district. W Liberty St is a busy street, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to book a back area room. Breakfast is delightful and coffee/tea is available all the time, as well as water & soft drinks. Welcome cookies and afternoon wine is a nice touch.

We would have chosen a better location room for distance from street noise, but all else was lovely. Well decorated & not too precious for a historic space. Great restaurants close by.

It’s more of a hotel than a B&B as they offer valet parking ( for a price), luggage assistance and turn down service. They have a wine and cheese hour, as well as evening dessert and wine. There is a very nice breakfast buffet. I was happy with fruit, granola, bread and smoked salmon. My wife likes eggs and on the second day she did not like the egg dish (they are in warming trays). The staff was a bit light during the evening wine and cheese, and dessert: in walking through we did not see anyone to serve drinks. I know someone was working as each time we walked through, there were many guests with drinks. The hotel is conveniently located near many good restaurants. We recommend SNOB, named after its location: slightly north of Broad.

"Wonderful getaway"

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean. Good buffet breakfast and wine and cheese in the evening. The hotel always as coffee and beverages available all day. Kim the concierge at the front desk as so helpful and knowledgeable about Charleston. (ie; restaurants and things to do in Charleston)

"Wonderful area to stay!"

Great location in the historic district. The room was comfortable and had a kitchen with full size appliances.

The bathroom upstairs could use updating, but it was clean.
