John Rutledge House Inn

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The property was beautiful and in a historic area of town. We had breakfast served in our room every morning which was a treat! They offer delicious treats for afternoon tea. The concierges are so helpful - from fixing the tv sound, to getting more pillows and advising how to get to dinner. We stayed in the carriage house which worked well for us. Minimal stairs!

The service is unparalleled. We brought our two papillons and they were welcomed and there were even bowls and treats in the room. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We will definitely be back!

Amazing property with excellent service. Morning Breakfast was the "Cherry-on -Top", delicious. It was our first trip to Charlston, and the location made exploring a breeze! We would absolute stay again in the future!

First class all the way. Building was beautiful and historical. Staff were attentive both before the stay and during. Helped with dinner reservations and suggestions for tours. Breakfast had several choices & the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The Inn is walkable to all the important areas of town. The room was spacious & clean. We had a wonderful stay and already recommended the Inn to a friend.

The John Rutledge House Inn is a living history museum. The building is incredible, the amenities are excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable about the building's history and the city.
