El Dorado Hotel

All the staff were professional and pleasant. They seemed to respond to my questions well, and were supportive.

All in all, the El Dorado was a fine hotel. The main things that I didn't like were overall noise level, the uneven quality of my mattress, and the shower water pressure. To elaborate on the main concern, the noise: I sympathize with the hotel that the outside street construction, and neighboring business construction were likely out of their control, but it was extreme, as well as perplexing. Extreme, in the sense that the hotel's thin walls were unable to dispel it, and perplexing that it occurred through much of the night. I was only their two nights, and could only get about two hours sleep per night, because of it. As I said, it was partly the city's and neighboring business' fault, but the hotel did not seem equipped to deal with it. Internally, noise from hallway doors was a bit distracting.
