Evening meal in the Restaurant was delicious. Staff attentive. Breakfast generous and good. Room and bathroom clean. Lovely view of the Minster

Squeaky bed on wheels Dated sash window was slightly open when I arrived and I couldn't close it - I tried!! - so I could hear some outside noise into the evening and feel a breeze. Not the end of the world and I slept well. Insufficient sockets - just a double one by the kettle - could have done with at least one close to the bedside table for phone/alarm clock.

I stayed here and found that for me the rooms were cosy the service from all staff was excellent and the food is very good especially the fish and chips,and is the only place you can get Christmas Pudding out of season 😆 would recommend and I shall come again

Nice decor. Good location- close to railway station and there is a car park on site. Rooms of a good size

Some of the furnishings a little outdated and an update of sockets for charging laptops and phones would be good
