Inn on Putney Road

Very nice property, very nice gardens. Comfortable and cozy. Excellent hosts and good cooks.

A bit close to the road for me but depends on the room you are staying in. Traffic does quiet down later in the evening. Maybe more traffic than usual on the day I was there.

Lovely property with such a close proximity to downtown Brattleboro! Great communication, service, breakfast(brûlée grapefruit!french toast with raspberry!) and complimentary VT snacks in room. We made the reservation here originally to be walking distance to a venue we wanted to see a band at, but will absolutely come back due to loving the Inn so much

The Inn Keeper and staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The property is spacious and beautiful. I enjoyed checking out the plant beds, koi pond, bird baths and fire pit. The breakfasts were delicious and the common areas were so cozy and very New-England-like. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted. Locally made beverages and snacks were a big plus. The bed was very comfortable. It was an easy walk to downtown Brattleboro.

The Inn was so warm and comforting that it felt like home. It's beautifully decorated and you have access to the common areas where you can enjoy a game of pool, play piano, play a board game or find a nice book to read. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and plenty of seating. The owner Paul was very welcoming and included local snacks and sodas as well as waters in the room which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast each morning was out of this world! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Brattleboro area.

As others have noticed, the rooms facing the street have a bit of noise from passing cars, but I was aware ahead of time.
