La Mon Hotel & Country Club

Waiting staff did not listen and brought the wrong beverages. On checkout they tried to overcharge by more than £100 and we had to wait 20 minutes until someone who knew how to use the computer came in. They blamed the computer!!!

Always love staying here. Lovely food, rooms and staff.

My only gripe is there's no fridges in the room

Called in for lunch, sat in the lounge, very cold, nearby heaters not on. Fish, chips and peas were very expensive, costing about £3.50 more than in any comparable hotel, very average in taste and quality. Service was slow albeit friendly. I have many memories of this hotel from years ago when it was much more homely, comfortable and better value.

Attended for a function on Saturday night and found that the staff were friendly and always willing to assist. Extremely professional. Hotel itself has a warm presentation and the fire in the foyer is a lovely touch. Rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Will stay again.
