Barceló Corralejo Bay - Adults Only

Had 7 nights at Barcelo Corralejo Bay last week. Excellent all round experience: Room - very nice and well maintained by an excellent team of housekeeping staff. Food - lovely breakfast and dinner in the dining room, with a superb variety of food at both sittings. Waiting staff and cooking staff very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Facilities - superb pools , one ideal for length swimming, the other heated with an attached jacuzzi and great for just relaxing. A very well equipped Gym available for all residents, plus a superb Spa, open to all but with discounted rates for hotel residents. Lounge/Bar - entertainment on every night from 9-10.30 pm. A wide variety of Bands/solosingers/pianist, in my opinion catering for most tastes, well done for putting this on Barcelo 👏 Reception - very well manned by a knowledgeable team who are always keen to help. We had 3 calls to our room during our stay from the Hotel Guest Experience Manager, asking how our stay was going and if she could do anything for us - brilliant service 👏 Hotel is perfectly situated for a short 5/10 minute walk into the centre of Corralejo where there are ample shops/bars/ cafes/restaurants etc etc Thanks to all at Barcelo Corralejo Bay for a wonderful stay, we will return for sure.

Great hotel, very clean, all staff are polite and helpful. Room nice size with big bed and double shower. Cannot enter pool until 9am but plenty of beds. Food good with lots of choice, we were AI but found the pool restaurant at lunch time the meals were far to big we missed going a couple of times, be nice if they had a snack/coffee bar as well. Entertainment good but would be nice if they had another room if you wanted a quiet drink. Would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. The reception area is beautiful with a fabulous display of flowers. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pools, one of which is heated. The food is delicious and varied. The staff are amazing.

Barcelo Corralejo Bay hotel booked via Jet2. Stopped half board 18/03/26 for 8 nights. Room 3002 Hotel was excellent very clean and well kept with fantastic helpful and happy staff throughout from waiters to cleaners. Breakfast 07:40 - 10:30 buffet style has a great selection from fresh fruit, cereal to full fry up and much more. Omelette pick what you want and cooked as you wait. Well presented and very clean. All kitchen and waiting staff work hard. Dinner 18:30 - 21:30 buffet style and fantastic choice, always fish and meat cooked fresh on the grills. There is pasta, salads, soups, and meat dishes every night. They have different theme each night. There was never anything we did not like each night. Bar and entertainment singers every night they where very popular and bar well stocked, tho we did stay for these. Pool area very clean and well kept. It seemed to get very busy very quickly. We had a car so did not use this area. Rooms are large size with great air-conditioning and has a fridge. Bathroom has toiletries, large walk in shower and double sinks. Rooms are cleaned every day. Great night sleep. Atmosphere of hotel was relaxing and an older clientele this maybe due to being out of the main season. Noise level very quiet. The location was great just 2 mins walk from shops and bars and old town 5 mins away. There is parking around the hotel in the streets. Tho in high season this maybe a bit difficult. Barcelo Corralejo Bay hotel very clean.. rooms cleaned every day, slept great.. A well kept hotel with excellent happy staff throughout. Stayed half board food at breakfast 07:30-10:30 can have fresh omelette cooked and always lots to choose. Dinner 18:30-21:30 always great choice, with fish and meat cooked fresh on the stoves.. not had a problem finding anything we like.. from salad, pasta and meat dishes every day. Was fantastic great location to bars and shops in Corralejo town 2 mins walk.. Entertainment at night in hotel looked good and bar well stocked... Tho did not use these facilities. Pool area we went out every day as had a car. But pools looked good, area around pools seem to get full very quickly. Parking was good in the streets around the hotel tho in high season this maybe a problem.. As not in hight season the hotel atmosphere was good relaxing with older clientele. Would recommend the Barcelo Corralejo Bay hotel great value for money ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just returned from a great holiday at this lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, good storage space in rooms, & beautiful clean pool area. Food good, & staff efficient & very pleasant. Good entertainment every night. Cannot fault anything, & would definitely recommend. Only downside, very windy at this resort, with lovely beachside walk. Thank you Barcelo staff for a lovely holiday.

Been twice and will be going again. Very good hotel, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Staff very help full.

Very clean hotel. As it is adults-only, it's very quiet. We had a room closest to the lifts but did not hear anything all holiday. Excellent food - in both variety and quality. It's a short distance to a small beach (mostly rocks). They are building a boardwalk around the sea front which, when finished, will be brilliant. However, saying that, turn left and it's a fifteen minute stroll down to the harbour area - bars, restaurants etc. Turn right and follow the path around the coast for about 45 mins -1 hour to get out to the sand dunes. Take everything with you as though as there's nothing out there but sand, waves and little rocky wind break shelters to hide in. No sun shelters though. Biggest downside of all: there are some (very) solid wooden slats situated over the serving area in the restaurant. If you are 6 foot plus then watch out. THEY HURT. There doesn't appear to be a structural reason for them but they do ensure that every tall person walks around with a stoop.

Barcelo Corralejo Bay Hotel is a wonderful place to holiday, whether it be a few nights or a couple of weeks. This is our second visit and it did not disappoint BUT for the management team, a few pointers which are our opinions. 1. Wrist band key fob amazing idea, rather than door key card. 2. In both the rooms we have stayed in 2005 last room, the actual toilet is located way too low to the floor. Room needs disability aids on walls, handle to help pull yourself up. 3. There needs to be more terrace areas to enjoy a drink and sit. Personally I would remove the pay for beds above the snack bar which we did not see in use and make it a chill out zone, have a daily cocktail hour etc.. 4. During the day have another area to get a coffee, drink etc. 5. Have a self service coffee, soft drinks machine which can only be activated by your room keyfob to avoid those not using whom are not on AI. 6. Have some more activities such as fun time quiz, bingo etc.. All in all from Julia and Leah, client services to Pedro in poolside bar are complete assets to the Barcelo and a true statement to quality, polite and professional.
