Great view to unwind

Good things: the views from my room, restaurant and infinity pool were stunning. I loved reading books on my big patio with hammock. Not many guests which meant peace and tranquility. Nice area to walk around. Clean bedsheets. Very good, home made continental breakfast and good coffee. Extremely nice owners and staff on the premises which made the stay worthwhile. Bad things: I booked more expensive premium room. It WAS NOT as nice as on the pictures. The property has several buildings. There are 3 premium rooms. Premium rooms are closer to infinity pool with big patios with hammock. They are called cashew rooms 1,2,and 3. Room 1 is the one on the picture advertisement, room 2 was my room, picture of which I attached. Always ask for Cashew rooms #1 otherwise you get what you get. But still I liked it more than cheaper rooms closer to restaurant from which there is a walk to infinity pool and small patios without a hammock. Also the resort has great potential but is run down with broken furniture from the 70s and garbage of old cars, stoves etc. on the property. A little bit of cleaning and furniture upgrade and it would be a pearl. Breakfast is good but the same every day with eggs of your choice, bacon or sausage. Was enough for me to keep me full till dinner. I also was given fresh fruits every second day which was nice. The owners are very nice and I am pretty sure that stupid Covid contributed a lot to the current situation. As it was a retreat for me to relax and switch off, I still liked it.

When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation, then the property itself looks like it is in disrepair, the pool is about a kilometre or more downhill from the rooms and at the owners house. Overall the property has a lot of potential, like if you could book the owners house itself that might be worth it, the staff were nice. I will not go back.

The view from the pool and restaurant were incredible and the staff at the resort were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and willing to support your trip. However, the rooms were not clean and extremely sparse for the price paid.

Truly a gem of a place ! The views are simply beautiful / we booked this last minute only to be so impressed with the views of the Pitons from the infinity pool / paradise. You do need a car to get around but little gem of a place is comfortable and peaceful/ we had breakfast and dinner here and the food is simply excellent !

You can’t beat the most stunning Piton view and infinity pool in St. Lucia straight out of La Haut Resort.Friendly staff, traditional island rooms, local food, Pura Vida. Stayed there twice.We cant wait to be back soon🙌😍 highly recommend!

Complete rip off. Didn't get the room we booked specifically because we had a baby with us and need the space. Instead we were put in a room right next to the restaurant and not warned there would be a late night wedding party during our stay. Whole place falling apart and in dire need of an update. Not worth the money

La Haut Resort was a fantastic place to stay. The room was large, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. One of the best spots is the infinity pool that overlooks Soufriere. It is gorgeous, especially at sunset. You would either need a car, taxi, or shuttle to get to town/the attractions. It was very close to getting to everything by car - I wouldn't recommend walking to town as there are no sidewalks. We had no issues since we had a rental and I imagine there are Ubers around to take you. You can absolutely hangout at the pools all day!
