The villa and the butler service - Laxman - flawless and making you feel you are in heaven. Gastronomy did not entirely meet expectations.

Some food quality, the bread, temperature and freshness of the dishes was partially dissatisfying.

The villas are exquisitely designed, each offering complete privacy, a dedicated butler, private plunge pools, and some with direct beach access. The spa is world-class, surrounded by lush nature in a tranquil setting, while the traditional restaurants cater to every need with superb cuisine and outstanding service. The presidential villa, located at the highest point, is truly spectacular. In addition there is a helipad with breathtaking views. This resort is by far one of the finest on the main island, perfect for high-end travelers seeking exclusivity, serenity, and unforgettable luxury.

Our stay at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas was truly an unforgettable experience. The location on Mahé Island is absolutely breathtaking — incredibly beautiful and only about 30 minutes from the airport. It is a place where the only sounds you hear are birds, waves, and nature itself. No noise, no distractions — just pure serenity. You truly feel intoxicated by the peace and the view. We stayed in a magnificent private pool villa. The cleanliness, the quality of the facilities, and the attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. The cuisine was exceptional. Every single dish we experienced was refined, thoughtfully prepared, and a true pleasure. The atmosphere throughout the resort was calm and tranquil — at times we genuinely felt like we were in paradise. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team who made this extraordinary experience possible. Special appreciation to Food & Beverage Manager Mr.Meriç Erdeviren, to our wonderful butler Dian for her constant care, attention to every detail, and warm smile, and to Mike at the beach who thoughtfully ensured our comfort at all times.

Hey there all travelers! We have choosed Anantara Maia for our honeymoon and we are so thankful that we did! When we were booking it we were a little bit sceptical about the “ villa host “ thing but once we have arrived it completely changed our view. We were hosted and assisted by two amazing guys: Sisca and Ari! We can’t be more grateful to those two because they simply made our stay magnificent! They were always for us no matter what we wanted. They are the ones that made it so unique! If you guys have second thoughts about choosing it, don’t! Just go and spend one week or more in that place of heaven! Enjoy!

Perched above the turquoise waters of Anse Louis, Anantara Maia is one of those rare places where architecture dissolves into nature. Each villa feels suspended between lush jungle and endless ocean, with panoramic views and a private infinity pool that seems to merge seamlessly with the sea. The sense of seclusion is profound. Service is exceptional yet unobtrusive; your dedicated butler brings breakfast to your own patio, allowing you to linger over fresh fruit and coffee while listening to the waves. It is undeniably expensive—but for a special splurge, the setting and serenity make it absolutely worth it.

Our stay at Anantara was more than comfortable with every detail kept in mind by the management, it felt like home. Staff was very kind and helpful. All our requests were accommodated with love. The property was beyond beautiful. The rooms were amazing. The views goes without saying. We're super happy with our decision to choose Anantara. Dian has been amazing host, couldn't thank her enough to make our stay at Anantara a little more memorable.

Unfortunately, our stay at this resort did not meet the expectations set by its pricing. The property is clearly old and in need of major renovation. Doors do not open properly, bathroom and sink drains are malfunctioning, and one of them even caused flooding in the bathroom. Throughout the property there are visible signs of wear and tear, accompanied by a persistent musty, old smell. The floors are squeaky, further reinforcing the feeling of an outdated and poorly maintained resort. The pool area also raises safety concerns, with exposed lights and visible wiring, which does not feel safe—especially for a resort that presents itself as luxury. Dining options are extremely limited: there is only one restaurant, with a poor quality of the food. The coffee quality is poor also, well below what one would expect at this price point. The resort itself is very small, with very little to do on-site, making the stay feel quite monotonous, particularly for longer visits. The only truly positive aspect was the staff, especially Laxman, who took excellent care of us and genuinely tried to make our stay pleasant. The butler service is helpful and well-intentioned, but cannot compensate for the overall shortcomings of the property. Overall, this resort is significantly overpriced for what it offers. Prices should be reconsidered and reduced by at least half to reflect the actual experience. There are many properties on Mahé Island at similar prices that are vastly superior in terms of quality, comfort, and value.
