This place is amazing! Came for our honeymoon in ocean view villa and it was a dream! You get a personalized butler who you text on WhatsApp for anything and everything and the service is amazing! The private pool is warm and amazing with an outdoor tub you can use for shower or sunset bubble bath, with a surrounding shallow circumferential pool which were nice touches to alternate between. The beach is just a quick walk down by the main area with warm blue water and never crowded. Food on the island is very expensive which I thought was just the hotel but it’s just island prices. The breakfast is huge variety, amazing! You don’t need to leave your villa if you don’t want to for anything. Bed was comfortable, and pillows customizable for your needs! Shoutout to our butler Laxman, he was so prompt, kind, and helpful

What an unforgettable and truly amazing honeymoon we had at Anantara Maia. From arrival to departure, you are treated like royalty and made to feel very special. Every single staff member are a credit to the resort, even little gestures of stopping and smiling to greet you whenever you cross paths really made the place feel so special. Arun, our villa host, made an already perfect stay even better. We truly felt we made a friend by the end of our stay. He had the perfect hosting/serving skills, knew what we wanted before we knew we wanted it! For example, after a long day out on a boat trip we were greeted with our room made up with romantically petals with a hot bubble bath drawn. He also surprised us with special private dining experiences that will never be forgotten. I cant stress enough how polite, friendly, professional and how much of a great person Arun is! The room was amazing, with the most picturesque panaramic views. All you could hear was the ocean and wildlife, truly a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing luxury resort with friendly service, then this is the place to go.

Our stay at Anantara Maia Villas was pure perfection, and a huge part of that was thanks to Wasim, our incredible villa host. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make every day special. He surprised us with a breathtaking private dinner on the helipad, took us to the most stunning sunset spots, and somehow remembered every tiny detail — including making sure my wife had fresh popcorn every single night. Wasim’s warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our experience unforgettable. He turned an already beautiful resort into something truly personal and memorable. We left feeling like we’d made a friend, and we’ll 100% be back for our anniversary trip. If you’re lucky enough to have Wasim as your host, you’re in for something truly special.

Our stay was everything we’ve come to expect from Anantara; genuine hospitality, great service, and attention to every little detail. From the moment we arrived, Ari, our villa butler, made the whole experience special. His patience, kindness, and dedication really stood out. He went above and beyond to make sure my wife, the kids, and I were comfortable and happy the entire time. It’s always a pleasure to stay somewhere where you can truly feel the love for good service. We left grateful, impressed, and already looking forward to coming back. We’ll definitely keep recommending this resort, and Anantara in general, to friends and family.

We had the most incredible experience. We were mesmerised by the room, words cannot express how beautiful it is and the scenery is breathtaking. Absolutely everything is catered for and our experience was made even more special by the wonderful Baadshah. Nothing was too much, the place was kept immaculate. The little things, such as the teabags we liked were always topped up, Baadshah was so stealth with everything he did and so respectful. Dinners were arranged, baths, massages and a fabulous surprise meal on the mountain. Words cannot describe enough what a truly memorable experience this was and Baadshah made it happen. Came here for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute dream. The villas are perfect down to the minimal details, everything is thought to put the customer at perfect ease. The view of the ocean from our villa was breathtaking, thanks to the lush and bright vegetation, the sunset colours were incredible and lighted up everything. The service, and in particular that of our villa host, Mary, was absolutely outstanding. Timely, precise, discreet, kind and professional: simply perfect. Everyone should come here at least once!

A full service luxury retreat set in idyllic surrounds and staffed by the most helpful and competent staff. Villas are self contained meaning - if one chooses to- there is no need to roam far for all the comforts you need. Although the fabric of Maia is getting a little jaded now, it strives hard to make up for this with service attitude. My butler Vishnu treated me like a vip and went out of his way to ensure my every wish was fulfilled. Great people and a great resort for high end R&R.

Our stay at the Anantara Maia on Mahé, Seychelles was truly wonderful. Our personal host, Ari, was extremely polite, attentive, and very helpful. Our 5.5-year-old daughter wanted to go see the tortoises with Ari several times a day and explore the entire resort. That was never a problem — he accompanied her everywhere without ever being intrusive. He constantly came up with new ideas to keep our daughter engaged. On the last day, for example, he even organized a pizza-baking activity to match our afternoon snack. During this week, we felt completely relaxed. The beach right in front of our villa was absolutely stunning! The food at the restaurant was good, and the staff — especially Maia — really won our daughter’s heart. She was so kind to her, danced with her, and was very attentive to her wishes. Our daughter didn’t want to leave when it was time to go home, and we felt very relaxed throughout our stay. We always had someone to contact whenever we needed anything. If something broke, a team came immediately to fix it. All in all, the staff was very attentive, the gardens were beautiful, and the à la carte breakfast was delicious. The spa area (outdoors) and the massage, however, didn’t impress my husband. The massage took place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which wasn’t ideal for an outdoor treatment — it was getting dark, and the mosquitoes were becoming active.

Incredible villas and great service from our host, Hatem, who was always available when we needed anything, but not intrusive or overbearing. This was important for us as we are quite chilled so wanted to just enjoy the amazing villa, and didn’t have too many requests. There is only one restauraunt, but the menu is very big, with several different cuisines, and the food was very good. When ordering a drink at the restauraunt, there was sometimes a bit of a delay in sharing the order with the barmen, meaning delay in getting drinks. We are quite chilled and not massive drinkers, so just accepted this as being part of island life, but I can imagine a few more demanding guests might get a bit frustrated with this.

It was an amazing stay! It is so wonderful place. With excellent service, amazing people and fantastic nature. The food is very delicious food. Please also try the Spa and relaxing massage - you will be impressed. I would like to mention our house man Laxman ! He is so professional and amazing person! We were in his good hands and do not worry about anything! Wanted to stay there more and will get back off course! Thank you very much for this an amazing stay with you Anantara Maia!
