Our stay was wonderful, we wanted complete privacy and relaxation after a hectic week on Safari and the Anantara Maia provided this. A special acknowledgment to our villa host Rashid who looked after us really well. The spa treatments were really good in a super relaxing setting.

The best private luxury experience you will have - this is what I can sum up this experience as, from the time we entered the property we had a private arrival with the resort manager welcoming us we were taken to our private villa by the buggy and then you understand the scale of the place which is edged on the hill. Once you enter into your private villa you have a dedicated butler for you who takes care of all your needs, it had private pool, beach beds, private outdoor dinning area and a jacuzzi. They had decorated the bed for my wife's and child's bday celebration and given us a Champaign also some snacks. The amenities were all hermis branded. We had a candle light dinner and the atmosphere was set by our butler and he make the place as romantic as possible. Even the breakfast was arranged in our villa which was top notch and also we had a welcome massage as well which was complementary In overall it was a once in a life time , never to forget experience

My husband and I went to Anantara Maia Villas to celebrate our anniversary. We took our 16 month old with us and it was a phenomenal experience. The check in was quick and as we arrived they addressed us by name without asking and had everything set up already. The room had everything needed for a baby and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us with the baby. They made her tasty smoothies and some of the staff in the restaurant even took her and rocked her to sleep so we could have romantic time as a couple. Our butler was Adeel and he did an amazing job caring for us from start to finish. He made sure we were all well fed and even packed us food to go on our excursion early in the morning and made sure we had a nice spread of our favorite foods to send us off to the airport when we were leaving. His attention to detail was exceptional and he set up a nice and romantic bubble bath for us in our room at sundown to celebrate our anniversary. He is such a hard worker and we were impressed with him handling all our many many bags and just seamlessly catering to our every need with a smile. He also made sure the room was ALWAYS spotless and clean. Just wow!! The villa is huge and we were speechless as we walked the space. It is one of the best rooms, if not the best room, we’ve stayed in and had jaw dropping views. The weather was perfect and it didn’t rain at all throughout our stay. The food was exceptional! The best curry we have ever had and the fish pizza was something different we tried and was amazing!!!!! I felt so sad to leave because everyone we met made us feel like we were VIP on a private island to ourselves. We didn’t see many of the other guests throughout our stay so it truly felt like we were on a private island paradise! We would absolutely return without any reservations! A nice touch was having the resort managers introduce themselves at dinner and make sure everything was to our liking. Thank you to all the staff at Anantara Maia! The drivers, the staff at the restaurants, the. Chefs, the staff catering to us on the beach, the managers, and most but not least our butler Adeel! You made us feel paradise on Earth! Thank you for your love!

This was the second stop in our four resort holiday around the Seychelles and the UAE. We used Angelfish Travel for the entire package and it all went flawlessly. We had high hopes and high expectations for this place as it was fairly costly! Also as a brand, Anantara has always delivered for us in the past. Would it deliver again? Arrival at Anantara Maia sets the tone immediately. There's no drawn out check-in or waiting in a lobby, you're taken straight to your villa where everything happens in your own space. Thanks to GHA Platinum status we were upgraded on arrival which was a welcome surprise. Check-in was done in-villa, and we were shown around calmly and clearly, no fuss, no pressure, and from that moment the holiday truly began. The villa becomes your world, and it’s designed for exactly that. Spacious, fully private, and completely self-contained, it offered everything we needed without ever feeling like we had to leave. The outdoor area is the standout feature and the reason we spent so much time there. The main pool is large and properly functional. It feeds into a 20cm-deep section where two loungers are set directly in the water, ideal for relaxing without having to dry off or move. Off to one side is an oversized stone bathtub, built into the open-air space but still fully private. This setup allowed us to flow effortlessly between pool, bath, and lounger throughout the day. The deck itself is more than just decorative, it’s a living space. A shaded dining table meant we could comfortably eat outside at any time, and the full bar setup made the space feel complete: full-sized fridge, separate freezer, ice maker, sink, glassware, everything ready without having to rely on room service for basics. The villa was built for full-day outdoor living, and it worked exactly as it should. Inside, the room is spacious and cool, with a bed positioned to face the view and doors that open wide to create one continuous indoor-outdoor space. Storage, layout, and lighting were all well thought out, and everything was spotless. Service throughout the stay was excellent, consistent, warm, and never overbearing. Our villa host Hanane was available by WhatsApp at all times, and every request — whether a buggy, a dining setup, or something simple was handled quickly and without confusion. In-villa dining was easy to arrange, arrived on time, and was always well presented. We had breakfast in our villa most mornings, brought and set up by our host on the outdoor dining table. It was the kind of quiet, unhurried start to the day that really stayed with us. We also dined most nights at Tec-Tec, which was genuinely excellent. The food was consistently high quality, and the setting was ideal, peaceful, intimate, and beautifully lit in the evenings. A special mention to Marvel, who looked after us several times. She brought a warmth and attentiveness that stood out, making each dinner feel personal. There’s a beach, spa, and bar area which are all beautifully maintained, but the villa is where this resort shines. There’s no pressure to engage or take part in anything unless you want to. Everything is set up so that if you choose to stay in your villa for days on end, you have everything you need. Anantara Maia is built for guests who want space, calm, and privacy without compromise. The villa isn’t just a place to sleep, it’s the core of the experience. And in all our worldly travels, we have never experienced a villa quite like it. It is, quite simply, the best.

We stayed at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas from May 17–22 for a much-needed rest and to celebrate my birthday — and what we found there was nothing short of extraordinary. Our Premier Ocean View villa, with private beach access, felt like a secret haven tucked between the jungle and the sea. The views — uninterrupted, endless, and hypnotic — were a balm for eyes accustomed to desert landscapes. The turquoise water, lush greenery, and quiet luxury offered a rhythm we didn’t know we were missing. The sleep? The best we’ve ever had. The bed was impossibly comfortable, the linens soft and cool, and the room temperature always felt just right — like the villa knew what we needed before we did. From the moment we arrived, we lacked for nothing. Our private butler, Wasim, made everything feel seamless — thoughtful, present, never intrusive. He arranged for Kevin, our endlessly entertaining driver, and shared insights about the island that deepened our appreciation of its quiet magic. The spa experience was transcendent — our couples massage felt like time stopped for just the two of us. And the private snorkeling trip with Caitlin, the resident marine biologist, was an absolute highlight. Her passion and care brought the reef to life in a way no brochure ever could. Even the small things — like the in-villa ice machine — made us feel we were being looked after. The privacy, the sense of calm, and the sheer romance of the place… it’s hard to describe. It doesn’t just photograph well — it lives up to every promise. It’s hard to imagine a better way to spend a birthday, or to press pause on the pace of everyday life.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Anantara, made even more special by the amazing hosts Ravi and Arun who took care of us throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly at home. What made our stay truly unforgettable was their help in organizing a surprise engagement - One of the hosts personally prepared our room for the proposal, creating the most beautiful and romantic atmosphere we could ever wish for:) On top of that, they arranged a beautiful dinner on our last night, which was the perfect ending to an already magical experience. Our stay in this beautiful resort turned into the most memorable chapter of our lives. We are deeply grateful and will cherish this memory forever! Thank you :)

Anantara Maia was so an amazing place to stay...quite and exclusive for you to meditate ...foods are delicious ...ambiance was so incredible you feel like you're in the paradise with the virgin forest around you, Crews and Butler VINSHUI from villa 104 was so accommodated to the guest...its my great pleasure for having our staycation here.....God bless 🙌 See you in the other upcoming years!
